I actually had mandrels when I started but I just couldn’t come up with something that didn’t hit the hood. The first gen CTS-V doesnt have much hood clearance as it is and with the longer 122 on it I couldn’t make it work. What I needed was some tighter radius bends but I didn’t want to spend more money on something I might not be able to use. After I couldn’t make the mandrel bends work for me, I decided to go ahead and try the pie cuts since I had enough straight tube.
