Any better tools for charging spare tire to keep in trunk?
So had a flat tire in dd and called for road service because the oem scissor jack and hardware were nearly useless in rain.
Roadservice showed up with floorjack, impact gun etc.
I don’t have room for floor jack but any one have thoughts on using torque wrench as a lugnut wrench?
Good idea or bad / unsafe ?
Any other better tools than the usual x or L wrench?

The X wrench is still the most effective on the side of the road. Carry a 12V electric pump in case the spare is low. Why do you think a torque wrench is a good idea? All you need is a way to tighten lugs enough to get going. You can re-torque when you get home.

I carry a small bottle jack and small pieces of wood to place underneath the jack as shoring. That and the 4-way wrench suits me fine. Or you could carry a pawn shop purchased socket wrench with extension plus the correct size socket to take up less space.

I keep the small cheap rapid pump aluminum jack from harbor freight in my trunk. Its small, weighs like 12 lbs and does a damn good job.
I also use their long 1/2" drive breaker bar with a socket on it for a lug wrench. About $100 for all of it.

Scissor jack with a hex head.
18V impact.
Place socket on impact. Place on hex head of scissor jack.
Zip car up.
Zip nuts off.
Change tire.
Zip nuts on.
Zip car down.
Done.

I get roadside assistance form USAA for like 60 bucks a year.. Just sayin... I even once ordered a pizza delivered at the same time ,, cause the tow company said about 40 minutes response to get there.. Worked out perfect.. LOL

HF breaker and socket with bottle jack. Also keep small HF mechanic tool kit along with knife, flashlight, and lighter.
NH roadside is no place to not have a boy scout kit.
18v impact sounds great as long as you can charge it.
