Default SnapOn CTS561 chordless screwdriver review

Just picked up one of these from my SnapOn dealer this past Thursday:

I was sceptical at first, but a bunch of guys at the shop bought them and I was eventually pursuaded to jump on the bandwagon. It comes with the case and 2 7.2v batteries and charger...looks kinda like a mini impact gun. Very light, fits in the palm of your hand, and surprisingly has some *****. I used it to completely remove and re-install a dash pad into an 06 Lexus GS and it didn't miss a beat. Was still going strong when the car was all done. That's all that I've used it so far, so I'm not sure how much longer it will go until the battery needs a nap lol. I got it on sale for $129, but I think it normally goes for $159. Yea, I know it's pricey like all SnapOn stuff, but if you do alot of interior work and don't want to use a bulky drill, this is the tool for you.

P.S., there's a guy on ebay that has one or a few for sale...

The reason I passed on it was the switch. It’s not a variable switch; it’s on/off only. Hopefully they’ll change that, and then I’ll buy one. It looked nice except for the switch.

It seems to spin pretty quickly to me, but surprisingly has some power for a tiny, lightweight tool.

So far it's been a week, and I've used it on numerous door panels, lower dash panels, consoles, and other interior parts and I'm still on the same battery...I'm very happy with the tool
