well the calendar has always been that way and was debated before, overwhelmingly girls and cars was the preferred way to go. im sure the threads are still around if you want to look them up. if you have never gotten one they were awesome and i would expect nothing less then the same from the new one which the OP is trying to live up to. im sure the rest of the community and Adrian would agree as well. it would not be hard to find a girl to pose with the car. if i though my car could make it i would have already had a girl lined up and ready to shoot...

Could add a poll to settle this or even just for sake of curiousity... Ladies in the photo or just the car.

well that was talked about as well and it was determined there werent enough sold to warrant two different calendars if i remember right. by all means put up a poll, but this has been discussed before. not an attack on you in any way im just stating what i have read here, i spend way too much time on this site...lol

Ok, so here is the scoop:

Girls in the pictures, PLEASE. This is how it was done in the past, and I would like to uphold the tradition. This is what I discussed with adrian, and I plan to uphold the reputation of these calendars to the best of my ability.

On the 12x24's.

I do not have the capability of doing this easily. I would have to print them on a wide-format printer and hand-cut each sheet. This is obviously not feasible for any significant number of calendars.

If someone else would like to attempt this, you are more than welcome to take over this project. I would love to see them 12x24, I just dont have the capabilities to do this. Someone else said they had a publisher lined up from a previous calendar (mazda was it, or impalas?)

Anyways, my capabilities end with 12x18, which isnt worth the extra cost over 11x17.

We definitely have enough interest for this to happen. Until we get 14 pictures, there is no need to keep listing names. I will start a new thread for Official names and who has paid, ect when the time comes.

For now, we just need to get pictures.

Sounds like it's final: if you don't have access to a model, don't post pics. You're not being considered no matter how great your car is, and this isn't a pic post thread.

That being said, I think 97ramsst needs to try real hard to get an entry in!

Your woman was smokin at that donk car show!

I'll support the project since IB is in, but I won't be interested in it unless every month has a pic worthy of the cover of a GM High-Tech Performance magazine issue.

Also, isn't this awfully late in the year to start a 2010 calendar?

nothing against chicks with the cars, but i'd take a calender full of very nice cars, than one full of mediocre looking women in bikinis on cars any day. if the girl's is really nice looking, OK, if not, keep her out of the pics. just my opinion....
