(1) New PM in Notifications. All PM's Read
 

I have a notification of (1) new PM on the top right under my screen name. All of my PM's have been looked at and I have none that are new. Is there a way to clear it? Thanks.

It could be a profile comment, or picture comment, or friend request as well. Click the private message link at the top right, and it will drop down a menu. Wherever there is bold lettering, means you have something new.

It is an unread private message with 1 next to it.

Honestly, if the system shows you having an unread PM, then you have one somewhere. Note that just because you read the PM, if you select it and mark it as Unread, it will then reappear as Unread and in your Notifications.

Feel free to send me a screen capture of your Inbox that shows no read PMs but with an Unread Private Message Notification and I'll gladly look into it.

Got it. I had to mark them all as "read" ever though they had all been viewed.
