Why no LIKE button?

Why no LIKE button? I know it's possible so why not give us the option of 'liking' the posts of other members? I can't tell you how many times I've wished there was one to click on! Can I get 1,000 likes for this thread? No!!! Because there's no LIKE button! LOL Haha. Just a suggestion guys. Love the site!

2) Because there would be zero value in just "liking" a post. Remember, this is an automotive tech site; discussion, debate, and information exchange are what make this site useful. As such, we encourage people to make thoughtful, informative posts. If members just "like" a thread without contributing any information, then what is gained?

Good thing you closed the thread so quickly. No sense in hearing any one else's simple minded opinion.
I'm very disappointed after just stating that I love the site. Then again there's a difference between the site and the guy who made that decision. Oh well, here's another for you to close. Sorry for questioning your apparently well thought out decision to not have a LIKE button and disallow any and all conversation pertaining to it. I won't do THAT again!
