White banner that follows when you scroll down.....
 

Is there a way to hide this? The top white banner that is about 3/4" covers some of the posts when you scroll up.

One more issue.....when I open a thread, the content of it gets cut off on the right ("Search this thread" is the last thing I see at the top) and it cuts off pictures and part of the writing. The ads on the right have all kinds of room......
