LS1Tech - can't send messages or post in Wanted
 

Hi LS1Tech admins. I signed up yesterday to this website, but I don;t have permissions to post in the marketplace "wanted" forum. I also cannot send private messages to anyone. I get the message...you don;t have permissions or your account is still being setup. Please help

This is to keep scammers from posting in marketplace. We have a lot of scam artists these days, so there's a certain number of posts and certain amount of time you have to be on the site before you can do those things. It's unfortunate, but scammers ruined it for everybody.

Thanks and I understand, I’ve been burned once and never again. I doubt it’s going to stop scammers, the a-holes are everywhere.

But How come I cannot pm the admins? They took my post down for a part I was looking for because it wasn’t posted in the marketplace. Not being able to contact admins is not a good experience for new users.

The system is unable to differentiate between a member trying to send a PM to another member or a sending to an Administrator. All new accounts do not have immediate access to the Marketplace or PM access to help protect the community from Spammers and Scammers.

New members who need assistance do still have options. They can post in this section, we is monitored, or they can use the Contact Us option (linked in the footer) to contact Administrators or other Staff.
