What's wrong with the search??

It doesn't seem to find anything within the last week or two.

I can enter "clutch", or "turbo" and it finds nothing if I limit the search to the past week.

Just wondering what's up.

brian is still tweaking the database

JRP got tired of people using his search button so he messed it up :D

Brian

Is the search feature broken due to database corruption which was going on about the same time the search feature stopped functioning the way we knew it to function?

Running this board and living a somewhat 'normal' life must be a real challenge ... hope you get the search feature back like it was. Thanks for all your efforts. :eek2:

Its actually coming back better than what it originally was.. I've set up a dedicated database server JUST for search traffic .. Just need to finish up some code to make it work, and then we're rockin' and rollin' ...

Glad to hear it's being addressed!

No too many people were finally listening to JRP and he wasn't able to meet his Search button bitching quota for the month ;)
