I just wish there was more immediate magic I could do for you guys.. We're up to around 1000 to 1100 users on pretty much the entire day, and I know it'll be more once we get performance back up to where its supposed to be.. We better plan ahead!

People are starting to go to bed
BTW - an additional server has been ordered, and will hopefully be installed in the rack soon. They have told me 24 hours if they can get the hardware in quickly enough. They need time to build the drive array, install the operating system, and do the initial setup. Then it goes in the rack, and then I need some time to configure everything and go live with it. I'm hoping we'll be rocking by the Sunday night slam (typically a very heavy activity period for us).
Just a little more patience, folks! And again, thanks for being understanding

Just wanted to put my two cents in: this site has been ten times better than any manual, garage or website I could have ever consulted for my questions. Thsi site rocks! Thanks for all the hard work and cash put up for this site!!!

There's a couple rumors (see the thread in the Lounge) but as of yet we don't know.
I've heard that the entire site content was lost due to the owner not paying the bills for a couple months, and the hosting firm wiping the server clean -- and they had no off-site backups
I've also heard they might be up and running again at some point.
So, truthfully, there's probably nobody that truly knows right now.

The new server has arrived Now its going to take a while for configuration, so be prepared for some funky ups and downs. I'm going to need a half hour or so of downtime to move data around, but I'll try to do that in an "off" period as to least affect everyone.
