why can't I post a reply in the sponsor feeback section

when I try to post a reply it says I don't sufficient permission yada yada. I looked a saw people had posted in the same thread and they only had a post count of 9 and haven't had a account as long as I have. and no the thread wasn't locked.

The permissions have recently been changed to put an end to the "bandwagon effect."

How about telling us what they have been changed to...?

Folks can create threads, and only they and the sponsors can reply to them. That's basically it -- get the notice out there, and effect a solution if possible. Anything else is unrelated people just wanting to get their $0.02 in, which in nearly every case doesn't actually add value. In many cases, it can prevent the issue from being solved.

The feedback forum isn't a "lets bash on Johnny's Widgets" forum, its designed to let people know about an experience with a vendor, and if that experience wasn't positive to allow the involved parties to work it out. If someone wants to share THEIR experiences, they can do it in their own thread -- not in someone else's.

good way to stop people from jumping in adding their two cents in that forum.

I edited the sticky at the top of that forum to indicate the changes.

Don't see where you edited anything, but I updated the Sponsor Feedback Forum Guidelines in light of this change.
