Can't change display options on tech without SSU changing
 

When I change my default layout in the SSU lounge, it changes my Tech layout, and vice versa. Why are they linked like that?

Your whole profile is one single profile across 4 sites.

What does that mean? I can't have different preferences across different sites? It's not even like I pick "Industrial" display and both display as Industrial - it's that when I change SSU to, say, Industrial, it resets Tech to Forum Default, and vice versa so it's not even like they're linked. It just resets the other sites display options.

Yeah, this should not be happening. This isn't part of the "same profile" thing (which means, for example, your sig is the same on all sites).

Take a look at the URL you are using to visit SSU. If it includes ls1tech.com it will use the same session cookie, and your preferences will migrate. If it is instead seatstaysup.com your preferences will be separate.

ACW - sorry about that, but yes it does it with that site as well. I just went there, logged in, and changed my layout preferences and it just reset mine on Tech
