For the Google search too?

Click the main "SEARCH" button at the top of the forum, not the "Search This Forum" button.

Not having luck with either search function.

Frustrating when you need to find anything!

Use google, go to advanced, put LS1tech in the site field, and then enter your search terms...almost works better than normal search.

Search isn't working for me either. Google works, but isn't as specific as LS1Tech's search engine. I can't find what I need. I'm sure I could, but I'd be looking all night.

Google seach works for me, but is random. I'm trying to used advanced search and then type in my own name under search by user name. It's extremely helpful in allowing me to go through and respond to things, but it times out every single time.

Edit: Actually the only one that works for me is google search. Basic search, advanced search, and search by user name = not working.

Double Edit: It worked for me just now searching my name. It didn't seem to have all the post I had made in the last couple hours though, but at least it worked.

Just to be clear, I mean going to www.google.com and then selecting advanced, etc, etc...

why fix it, it will just be down again in two days. Sure, there is great information here, too bad you can't find it cause search never works.

It's not that bad, and if you do it right you can get very helpful results from Google's search. Just be judicious in choosing your search terms.

With the size of the LS1 database I'm often surprised by how fast this site is. I imagine they have to curtail the power of the search engine just to keep the regular site functioning.

It had a nice period of a few months recently where it worked flawlessly for me. It's working now, but I get periods of it not working. Actually it doesn't work more than it does work. Oddly enough it works for me the most late at night like now. Guess there aren't that many people on now.

So is this going to get taken care of? It's the 5th day in a row not working for me...

And google is TERRIBLE. I can't find anything I need. I'll search for something and it will bring up threads that don't contain any of the words I'm looking for.

This site is almost worthless without the search feature...the same questions are just going to be asked over and over and over and over and over again...

Give us examples of what you're searching for. If you say "Camaro" or something equally as vague, I'm banning you.
