Is there a way to make the search functions looks at the post titles only instead of the whole post, which is what's hapenning now?

nope. The only reason it would give you that option before is because of the software format and speed related to it. This database-driven software should be about the same speed if you searched titles or entire threads. The old version was slower if you searched entire threads.

You can choose "subject only" as search option. That will search in the subjects only.
