LS1Tech Having Problems?

When I click on a thread the screen clears after about a second, then the delay can be anywhere from 5-20s before the page is built and displayed in my browser. The latency doubles when the packets get to the west coast, but still not bad.

LS1.com is way faster, they got a dedicated server vs a virtual server. not sure what kind of server ls1tech.com is on, but during the day it is soooooo slow. it does have twice as many users online than ls1.com... oh well.

1. Greetings from California, Internet Brands offices. Yes, I'm here.
2. I'm working with their staff today, and one of the top priorities is the issues we're having with performance and search.
I know I sound like a broken record, but hang in there folks. Your guy is right here in the new owner's office building (which overlooks the ocean)

Do the images eventually load, or is that the final page result? We're going to split off a lot of the static images to a dedicated images daemon in a week or two, that should take care of the issue completely.

Currently everything loads here, but it just takes forever for the page to finally come up. I don't know if I've been on a forums where there was a good 1500+ people viewing though so that might be part of it.
Last night it worked fine, but that was also at 1AM lol

Its been hit and miss for the last week or so. Sometimes it will scream faster then its ever gone and other times I swear the site is hosted on a 286.
Takes a good 2 minutes or so to pull up a single thread. Doesn't matter if i'm at home or where where we have a DS3 connection.

You did ask a question regarding the final white page for the search. I let mine sit for upwards of 5 minutes and it never went to any type of screen except white. Not trying to just post but it seemed that noone answered your request.. Or was it not a request? In any case just trying to help.
