Default 87 Buick T-type, Speed & Handling, perfect stance, trade?? NJ

Wanted to throw this out there and see what everyone thinks it'd be worth...the one glaring negative is the trans is stock and slips a bit, so eventually it'll need one. Other than that it's a clean car with literally A FORTUNE in it!! I just got the car for $13,500 and I have NO money right now to do anything so I'm contemplating letting it go. It's a sad thing to do because I've always wanted one and this thing's BADASS!!

87 Turbo T hardtop, 81k original miles, Maroon w/redone Maroon interior, rare digital cluster, power windows, power locks

Exterior Modifications:
-High Quality Repaint (done years back but still looks good, whole front end was removed to paint, pass fender needs to be aligned a bit, door rubs slightly)
-Shaved Emblems
-Lowered
-Fiberglass Front Bumper
-Paint-to-match Bumpers
-17" ROH Wheels (powdercoated black)
-Smoked Parking Light Covers
-20% Tint All Around
-Black Trim
-Repainted Satin Headlight/Taillight Bezels
-Repainted Grill
-Full Stainless Headlight/Tail Light Hardware, no rusted screws
-Turbo 6 Logo Center Caps
-BFG KDW Tires (7k miles)

Interior Modifications:
-Single A Pillar Gauge Pod
-Dual Console Gauge Pod
-Billet Console Panels
-Billet Shift ****
-Billet Buick Racing Dash Panel
-Carpeted Turbo 6 Logo Trunk Panels

Under Hood:
-TA Performance Black Billet Valve Covers
-Metco Dual Valve Cover Breather Filters w/Billet Necks

Performance:
-Forged Stock Displacement Bottom End
-Ported Stock Heads
-Copper Head Gaskets
-TE44 Turbo
-42.5 Injectors
-Sheet Metal Intake
-4" CAI Setup
-Center Mount Lower Scoop
-Tial Wastegate
-218/221 Cam
-Turbo Tweak Chip
-Razors Alky Injection (in-car adjustment)
-ATR Stainless 4" Down Pipe
-ATR 3" Single Shot Cat-Back Exhaust
-Random Tech 3" Cat
-Manual Boost Controller (currently set to 25psi)

Suspension/Chassis:
-100% Rebuilt Front End (pitman arm/idler arm/center link/tie rod ends)
-Flaming River Quick Ratio Steering Box
-Howe Low Friction Ball Joints
-QA1 Adjustable Front Coilovers w/500lb Springs
-Hotchkis Rear Springs
-ATR Adjustable Tubular Front Upper/Lower A-arms
-Pole Position Upper Rear Control Arms
-Spohn Tubular Lower Rear Control Arms
-Energy Suspension Poly Body Mounts
-Kirban Front Frame Braces
-Drilled/Slotted Front Rotors
-Lightweight Aluminum Calipers
-Stainless brake Lines
-Hawk Brake Pads (very agressive, some squeel associated with these, my plan was to change them if it bothered me)

Drivetrain:
-9" 3200 Stall Converter
-3" Carbonfiber Driveshaft ($1000 by itself)
-Stock 10 Bolt w/3:42's

Electronics:
-Scanmaster
-Brand New ECU
-New Powermaster 200amp Alternator
-Headlight Brightening Kit
-Caspers Electronics Engine Wiring Harness (professionally installed February)
-All Wiring Redone
-Autometer Boost Gauge
-Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge
-Autometer Water Temp Gauge
-Sony X-plod Flip Out CD Player
-2 10" JL Audio Subs
-Optima Yellow Top Battery

So again, negatives: Trans slips 2-3 shift, not horrible but it does. I'm sure it'll last quite a while like this but as I said I have ZERO money right now. Passenger door rubs the fender a bit, just needs the fender re-aligned, 6"x3" spot of paint missing on hood, and blower motor is shot. Not terrible things really, most are dirt cheap to fix. I'm just trying to be upfront about it.

Will include both a front mount intercooler, and set of stainless headers, both BRAND NEW, never on a car. No, I won't sell them seperate. If I don't sell the car then they'll get installed on it.

Paint is nice, body is straight, body & frame are solid, few surface rust spots on the undercarriage but for a G-body she's more solid than 85% of NE cars.

I'm not 100$ dead set on selling her, because I love the car, but right now this is my ONLY car and I have no funds to do anything. It's obvious I'm going to take a hit on the car but I'm hoping for $12k, if not I'll keep it and do what I have to. The car's been built with no expense spared, add some tlc and you'll have the baddest *** T EVER!!!

The motor pic is from February when the harness was done, since then it's had a new TIAL wastegate installed, new intake setup, and a few other odds/ends.

I'll CONSIDER trades, but no junk. I don't want some beat up car and $5000 cash. I need something that needs NO work. If you have a trade here's what I'd consider...and obviously I can't trade my car + cash, or I wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.

-LS1 F-body (has to be REALLY nice, t-tops, no pewter or red)
-LSX GTO
-If not one of these, newer car that's in nice shape and worth more than what I'm asking

Snapped a couple quick pics, please forgive the dirt on the floor mats. As I said it's my daily right now and I only stopped home to take a few quick shots so it's not very clean. If you look in the 1 interior shot you'll see the 1 and only rust spot on the car, in the door jamb below the a-pillar. It's only on the driver's side. Other than that everything's perfect. Doors are solid, trunk is, frame is, body is.

And is IS official, it's for sale. $12k as it sits with everything or I can negotiate from there without the spare headers/intercooler, and with stock driveshaft. Parts in it are definately worth more than I'm asking. And fyi, the internals consist of JE pistons, eagle rods, and scat crank.

Tempting, but it definately wouldn't be a straight trade. I'd probably want too much cash with either one for you to be interested honestly. I have a built 88 currently with a built 302, s-trim, built trans/rear, custom paint & redone interior that I can't even get $9k for, so honestly I'd need like $4k cash with the 89 or around the same with the 95. Not trying to be a dick, just being realistic.

Unfortunately I don't have either. Believe it or not both the previous owner and I weren't really that hard on it. I'm not going to tell you it's been built like this and NEVER abused, because that's just retarded. Obviously it's seen some use, hence the trans not putting up with it, but it hasn't been tracked or dyno'd as of yet. No holeshots or anything yet. I'd kill to see it though!

If I had to guess, I'm gauging it agains't my old LS6 powered TA, which had full bolt-ons and a tune, I'd say it's faster than that car. I babied that car to a 12.34@114, so this car definately moves.

I've had a few GN guru's tell me that with a new trans and a good tire it'd be 10's easy. I won't claim that, because it's just hearsay, but so I've been told.

Just changed the trans fluid & filter and noticed an IMMEDIATE difference! It still slips unfortunately, but not half as bad as it did. Hopefully it'll get even better as the fluid circulates more.

My GN buddy said the trans doesn't look stock either, he said it looks like it has some beefier parts in it. What that means I couldn't tell you. Maybe a basic overhaul would fix it. That'd be nice.
