Default 1999 Trans Am Mostly stock

Year: 1999
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $4950
Mileage: 128131
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IA
Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Up for sale is my 1999 trans am. I am selling the car to find another project. I bought the car 6 months ago with the plan to build it for race. After looking around it looks like its gonna be cheaper and easier to to buy one thats already done. The car is in really good shape. Passenger side is perfect, Driver side has a clip busted on the mirror but still stays in place, Small scratch in the rear quarter you can barely see, Back has a small small chip by the dealer logo you can barely notice, Front bumper has a scuff and a small area of spider cracking where it has bumped into somethin, Small tear underneath from going over a curb.
Don't get me wrong the car is in great shape I just want everyone knowing whats wrong with it. I had the car up for sale a couple months ago untill things got out of control in the post. Car ended up in a friends shop for 3 weeks till they were able to get a good set gears that were quiet. So yes the rear end is rebuilt with all new bearings and 3:42 gears. I also put a rear end girdle on that i had laying around "jegs girdle"..

The interior is in great shape with a small wear area on driver seat and normal cracking on door panels. Car drives straight with no pull. Underside of car is very clean with minimal rust.

Interior: 9
Exterior: 8
Tires: 6.5
The car is located in newton/monroe ia. If you wanna come look at it or have any questions please pm me or pm me for my phone number.Again I'm askin 5500 for it. This time its first one with money in hand or deposit and sorry about the last post and those who were intrested.

I'm actually looking for another ls1. I ordered a turbo kit from josh at kytp for a ls1 f-body. If it don't sell or trade in the next couple weeks i'll let you know. The car ended up being in the shop forever due to bad gears and to find out they never looked at the axles witch were shot due to bad bearings. Needless to say kinda a big pain in my *** knowing the car was sold.

Its worth every bit of it. I've found a couple cars I want to get my hands on but the old lady says I can't do anything till this one is gone and the tahoe i have listed is gone.
If you can't tell from the pics it is t-top, tilt, cruise, pw, pl , keyless, black leather, tinted windows equiped lol.
Also has flowmaster exhaust, sony headunit that actually sounds really good.

I'll give a 150$ credit to someone that is driving a far distance to pick up the car hint hint ls1freak

Ls1freak has the money.. I bet if you negotiate enough and get plenty of pics you could talk him into it!

How far are you willing to drive to meet up?

I'd drive about 2 hours in any drection. Thats about iowa border towards tn.Thing is its just hard for me to find time to drive. Just got back from vegas last week and now playing catch up on work. In my sig it shows all the pics of any problems with the car.
As for the price i don't have alot of room to move due to putting all the money in the rear. maybe a couple hundred but thats about it.

engine sounds great noise tick, smoke or any noises. This winter the belt squeaked a little but with warmer weather i havent heard anything. Transmission shifts nice and firm. brakes are good. Back ones are getting down there 1/4 pad or so. Exhaust is good also. Its a flowmaster weld in muffler with not much rust and no holes.

Tons of intrest but no cash yet. Lots of really picky people. Like i tell everyone 4700 is my bottom dollar and someone will get a hell of a deal for that price. I'm gonna keep it up till the end of this week then probably give up on selling it and keep it.
Getting so close to racing season and I don;t wanna be the one without a drag car lol. At this point the cars a steal so someone show me some money.........
