Default 1000hp Turbo '04 Lightning

Mileage: 39000

Location (State): TX
Color: Gray

LS Engine?: Car has other engine

Well the time has come to move on. Up for sale is my custom built, turbo ’04 Lightning. I hate selling my pride and joy but I think it’s time. The truck is Dark Shadow Gray and only has 39k miles. I am the original owner and bought it new on 6/7/04. It has always been garaged, never smoked in, never wrecked, and is in excellent condition inside and out. There are plenty of people that can vouch for how well I take care of it. The mod list is extensive and I’ve only used the best parts available. No expense was spared during the build up of this truck, all done by PSI Motorsports in Webster, TX. PSI is one of the best Lightning shops in the country, and also one of the best tuners. On the pump gas street tune, 15# of boost, it made 718/711. On the C16 race tune, 26# of boost, it made 993/1012, making it one of the most powerful Lightnings in the country. It has run a best of 10.68@137 on only 20# of boost on a very soft launch. That’s 9 second mph and was hardly being pushed at all. The large fuel system will make it easy to tune and run on E85 with no modifications if desired. When the gas pedal isn’t on the floor it is very docile and drives like a stock truck. The drivability of this truck is amazing! It still has a/c, abs, and all the creature comforts that make it a true street truck, and everything works. The engine has about 7-8k miles on it, and the transmission, turbo, and related build parts have only about 2k miles on them.

Pics (taken 5/20)

I’m sure I’m missing some things, but that’s the gist of it. The turbo build was recently completed (6/09) and the transmission, converter, seats, console, carpet, and several other parts were brand new and installed then. Many many hours of planning, fabricating, and tuning went into this truck by the guys at PSI Motorsports. This is truly a one of a kind, custom truck, and you won’t find another one quite like it. I also have the original window sticker, SVT certificate, SVT manual, build sheet, ’04 Lightning dealer literature, and other Lightning stuff to go with it. It starts on the first crank, idles perfectly, and drives perfectly with no check engine lights and no disappointments!

A stock truck with my mileage and condition books for between $19,000-$22,000. I have well over $40,000 in mods alone. I’m asking for $35,000 OBO. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. I wish I had that cash available, but don't now. Good luck making someone's dream come true. That really is a solid looking deal.

I'm just ready to move on to other things. That's always how I've been. I've had it for 6 years and started from scratch and turned it into this, and now I want to do something else. I'll probably get into a C6Z06 next. I love those cars.

Thanks! Someone asked to see a dyno sheet so here it is. As you can see it's not "peaky" at all and carries the power a long ways. It pulls very hard up top and is quite a rush!
