LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
I have owned this car for almost 5 yrs. The car has only ~47k miles on it and I bought it with only 32,000 miles on it back in early 2006. I believe I am only the second owner. The car is my baby and as you can tell is not driven much. It spends it's time pampered in the garage and only comes out on nice sunny days to work or for a cruise. It has never seen snow since I owned it and only rain if a shower pops up unexpectadly on a nice day, believe me, I check the weather before I drive it! This is my second F-body (had a 1995 Firebird Formula before) so I did this one nice and tasteful with only great parts. Done right.
The car is very clean and unmolested with only tasteful mods, mostly appearance and suspension. There is absolutely nothing to be done to it but drive it and enjoy it. Here are some more details:
Drivetrain
-stock LS1 with new waterpump in 2009 (there was a slight weep at one of the gaskets and since I had a warranty I went ahead and had it replaced)
- SLP lid
- SLP loudmouth catback with 3.5" slash cut tips
- factory manifolds and cats
- factory Hurst shifter I bought from a board member with a Lou's short stick
- stock clutch
- factory 3.42 rear
- oil (and air filter) changed every 3,000 miles or once a year (whichever comes first) with Kendall GT-1 synthetic blend
- clutch fluid kept clean and fresh using the Ranger Corvette method with a turkey baster
- have brand new AC and serpentine belts I was getting ready to put on for something to do, haha.
- free ram air and throttle body bypass
Interior
- custom rear seat delete (see my cardomain site in signature)
- Acura RSX Type-S black perforated leather seats in excellent condition from a 60k mile car (Installed and ooohhhh sooooo nice!, still have factory seats if you prefer stock)
- C6 Corvette shift **** fitted to Lou's short stick
- redlinegoods black leather shift boot with double silver stitching and matching console cover
- white face gauge overlays
- machined finish billet HVAC and headlight ***** which look very tasteful
- 20% tinted windows (one piece rear glass)
- car has manual crank windows and manual locks, no traction or cruise control.....light, light, light! Weighed 3,394lbs. with spare tire, jack, and 3/4 tank of fuel.
- stock stereo with Infinity Kappa components in the doors that are about a year old (the coaxial mounted one's wired properly) and brand spanking new Bazooka woofers (wired properly in parrallel) that I just installed in the sail panels with dynomat.
Exterior
- 35th Anniversary LE wheels (Genuine GM) with Firestone WideOval 285/45/17 tires on all four corners, rotated regularly
- SLP grill with custom black/chrome bowtie
- SLP 96-97' Camaro SS spoiler
- new stainless steel C6 Z06 style Z28 badges from emblempro's (replaced C5 style I had before)
- stainless steel Camaro nose emblem
- stainless steel Camaro rear letter inserts
- clear corners
- hyperwhite headlight bulbs
- car does have a few small bubbles in the roof which is common on these cars and typical small rock chips on the front, nothing more than normal wear and tear from driving
- straight and door ding free
Suspension
- Hypercoil lowering springs
- Bilstein shocks front and 3rd Gen Koni adustable rear shocks (I do have a nice set of used front Koni adjustables from a trusted member on the F-body Road Racing forum and the Bilstein rear's I removed that I may sell with the car)
- LG Motorsports weld on subframe connectors
- LG Motorsports poly/rod end adjustable panhard bar
- LG Motorsports 32.5mm front sway bar, stock 19mm rear bar with new bushings/endlinks (have 21mm LG Motorsports rear bar I may sell with the car)
- LG Motorsports torque arm
- new Duralast rotors and pads all around at about 40,000 miles
Well guys, that should do it. There may be some things I forgot, so feel free to ask. In my opinion it has all the good mods and none of the mods that cause driveability/reliability problems. If you are out of town, you could fly in and drive this car home without any worries.
The car has never been to the drag strip, although I wanted to take it and it has only been to one weekend HPDE at Roebling Raceway in Savannah, GA back in 2008. Car impressed all the instructors and I passed a C5 Z06 and Audi S4 among others. This is a strong running car for sure, might be a factory freak, but I don't know because it has never been on a dyno or to the dragstrip, haha. It did hit 140mph on the front stretch at Roebling though!!!
I am only asking $13,000 but am open to reasonable offers. No low ball offers please.
Email is the best way to get in touch with me.
Thanks,
Eddie
For more pictures, see the link in my signature. I will add some fresh pictures in the next few days but the only real difference is the new larger stainless C6 Z06 style Z28 badges from emplempro's.

Acura RSX Type-S seats are in and they came out great! I still have the stock seats as well if the buyer prefers them for some reason and it is a simple change (bolt-on).
