Dodge Durango - 2006 Viper 8.3liter swap...
Year: 1999
Make: Dodge
Model: Durango
Price: $48000
Mileage: 5000
Private or Dealer Listing: Dealer Listing
Location (State): NC
Color: Beige
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
LS Engine?: Car has other engine
From what we've found, this seems to be the only one in the world successfully completed. This vehicle starts and drives like a factory installation. Also, get this; the air conditioning works as factory (you have no idea how difficult this was to pull off). Factory power leather seats, full interior, CD player.
The transmission is a NADP built 48RE automatic transmission, built to handle the extreme duty conditions of just about any off roading demands, or driving down the road to the grocery store ( ). The transfer case to match is an Advance Adapters Atlas 4-speed with a 5.44:1 final drive ratio.
Putting it all down are 2.5 ton Rockwell axles front and rear. 6.72 gears, Detroit Lockers, shaved differential housings for increased clearance, 4-wheel disc brakes, and Overson Engineering selectable hubs up front.
Directing the mammoth is a PSC fully hydraulic steering system, with custom front and rear 4-links with track bars, coil springs and Pro Comp adjustable reservoir shocks. The wheels are 15 x 10 Offroad Connection beadlock wheels with 44 x 19.50 Boggers (four on vehicle, one spare assembly provided).
A few miscellaneous items to note;
The firewall is moved back nearly 15.00", and was hand built by us here at National Speed, Inc. during the installation process. The driveline is Tom Woods, the fuel cell is custom, the instrument cluster is custom built with Autometer gauges in place, the radiator is a Flex-A-Lite unit with twin puller fans and one pusher, the winch is a Warn 12.0 Endurance Series unit, the front bumper is custom built by Off Road Evolution, Moroso 3qt oil accumulator and custom oil filter relocation, K&N intake system in place, custom National Speed, Inc. headers feeding a custom exhaust with Magnaflow muffler.
The exterior is painted military-specification matte tan. The vehicle was originally purple, and this is still reflected in the door jambs. This is currently the only spot where the original color is present. The only damage present is a dent on the driver's door that was acquired during an off-road session. The door opens, shuts and the window functions as it should, the door simply has a large dent.

A v10 with those gears wow. How many gallons to the mile? Lol that's pretty sweet but not exactly what I was imagining when I saw the title. I thought it was an srt8GC killer.
