2001 Z/28... FS/Trade.. Video

Mileage: 122000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): AZ
Color: Beige
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
T-Tops
Emissions good untill May 2012
Grey hounds tooth cloth interior
122k miles
Super clean
absolutely no leaks.
The Z makes a great daily driver or weekend warrior.
The car is tastefully modded and 100% street-able (gets well over 20 MPG!), with cold A/C Power windows, locks, and cruise. 500 watt Monsoon sound system with Alpine 6.5 speakers in the doors,12 disc CD changer. Extremely clean interior, NON smoker.( no holes, rips, or tears)
I had AZ Dyno Chip and Nic D. (best LS1 tuner in town) dyno tune the car after all the mods were done. It put down 323 RWHP and 330TQ at the rear wheels -before the Jantzer Stage 3 Throttle body and pulley.. mind you this was on a 116* day too!!! ( have the dyno sheet and video to prove it)
Mod List: All mods installed at 120K
Pace setter ceramic coated long tube headers
Texas speed 3" X-pipe with true duals that dump before the rear axle (sounds amazing!)
SLP 25% under driven pulley with new belts.
NGK TR55 V power plugs
MSD super conductor wires
LS6 Intake manifold ( Fresh intake and lifter valley seals.)
SLP intake air lid with K&N filter
New battery along with fresh coolant and 160* T stat
New water pump.
Custom Programming from Nic D. and AZ dyno Chip.
Jantzer Stage 3 Throttle Body (powder coated)Bump mod, half-shafted, tb- bypass, ported..
Drive train: NOTE---- Very street able, drives close to stock yet absolutely rips.
Auto Trans: I have documentation for $2500 and warranty still
Recent complete stage II 4L60E Automatic trans build (2500 Lock up convertor, billet servos, Sun drive shells, Kevlar bands and clutch friction plates, 3-4 clutch pack mod, now 9 disk instead of 6. Modified metering plate and shift kit. External Hayden trans cooler.
Aluminum GM 1LE driveshaft.
Rear Axle: I have Documentation $1000
Complete rebuild and a new set of Richmond 3.73 rear end gears with a Detroit Locker!! ( this really "woke up" the car)
Boxed rear control arms and new bushings with a new 1LE GM Drive shaft
(really stiffens the chassis up)
2008 Corvette wheels 18x9.5" all around. With Eagle F1's(carbon side walls) out back(11/32) and Dunlop Sport run flat up front (8/32)….
4 All New Drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads!
Custom Billet Grill with Z/28 1969 Emblem
Custom Z/28 on both fenders and trunk lid
SS spoiler (rear) $500
Stainless Steel Camaro Inlays (rear)
This car is reall fast for a full bolt on/ stalled geared, camaro.
I mean it is really fast. The converter and gears and mods make it so much fun to drive, it snaps your neck when you punch it. On top of that, almost everything in the drivetrain is new, and the engine has perfect compression.
The only thing the car needs is the passenger fender has a small hole in it from a tire blow out. It will be around $500-800 to do it right ( a real good body shop) to fix the scratches on the front bumper and color match everything. The rest of the paint looks great..You would never know this is an Arizona car. ***(Update I just bought a used GM NBM fender for the car so the cost of getting it fixed will be much less now. You just have to get it installed and painted if it doesn't match right or install it your self if you know how.***
If the trade is right I will fix the fender, It just doesn’t really bother me since it’s not that noticeable.
So the car has a new tranny, driveshaft, rearend, full complete tuneup with plugs and wires, waterpump, pullies, exhaust, no leaks and perfect compression and all the bolt ons
I'm selling basically to get out of the F-Body game for awhile. I've owned 6 LS1's and I want to get a 300zx, a GTA, or maybe even a corvette again.. I don't know.
Go to post #3 for Video and more pics of interior and underbody...
