2000 TRANS AM


READ THIS!!! ---> The car has a blown motor!!!! <---READ THIS!!!

For sale or trade....2000 Pontiac Trans Am. The car is pearl white with ebony leather interior. It has 140,000 miles on it. The engine top end was rebuilt about a year ago and has roughly 6K miles on it....the bottom end is good too except for the rod is slung out of the side of the block! lol It supposedly has a cam and has had head work but I dont know any specifics on it. It cost around $3800 to have the work done (I have a reciept but its not itemized as far as the parts used.) The trans is BRAND NEW with no miles...its "built" with a stall. I am trying to get an itemized receipt for the work done to it but as of now all I have is a general receipt for it in the amount of $2400. The trans is still under warrenty from the shop...the were just paid for it and released it last week. All the work was done by Delk Performance in Nashville, TN. The car has working AC, new brakes (drilled and slotted front rotors), and new altenator. The rear end was recently rebuilt as well (still has stock 3.23 gears though.) The car has long tube headers with turndowns. It has Weld Draglites with brand new front tires and real good rears. The paint on the car is a 7.5-8 out of 10 (nice but not show quality...it does look good though for a driver) and so is the interior.

Here is the story on the car, the woman we bought the car from (a freind of ours mother) had the shop build the trans for the car last October. After being installed they were tuning it and slung a rod through the block...I heard from one guy working there it was on the dyno but the owner said it was during durring normal driving while hooked to lap top. I dont know...I just know it has a hole in the block now. The shop wouldnt do anything about it and the cars owner couldnt affoard to have the engine fixed and pay the $2400 for the trans...so it sit there at the shop. There was a lot of hard feeling both way to say the least. She was about to loose the car so my friend asked me to buy it. I planned to part it out but its way to nice to just kill. This car would be PERFECT for a 6.0L swap!!!

I am asking $5500 OBO for it.
If you want the stock wheels instead of the Welds I can do better on the price as well.

Trades will be considered, BUT BE REASONABLE with your offer...I will certainly trade up with cash on my end if you have something I want....that is not a problem!

The car is located in Huntsville, AL. I can possibly deliver or will help with delivery if needed. I have a clean and clear title in hand!!!
