Heres the deal:
1993 Rx-7 with 112k on the chassis. Motor and trans are out of a 2004 silverado, its a 5.3 with a 4l60e transmission. The motor has been freshened up with new gaskets and it looks very clean. The car has the full Hinson swap kit! The body and paint are overall in pretty good shape. The clearcoat is just barely starting to fade on the hood in a little area, and there are some rock chips and a couple tiny dings. Not a show car, but not bad looking. With a good buffing the car will look great. The windows are tinted and the tires are still good.
The motor has an LS6 cam and valvesprings, LS6 intake manifold, BBK 80mm throttle body, Stainless Works Longtube headers into a custom 2.5" Y-pipe flowing into a racing beat catback. The car is actually pretty quiet with that catback on it. Hinson cooling system with a single electric fan. The car has the stock 2004 silverado PCM and a stock tune in it so it will need a good tune. Right now the car is running pig rich. The transmission is all stock minus the Lokar shifter and linkage. Has a stock rx7 rear end with 3.90 gears and a HInson driveshaft. Car does NOT have power steering or A/C. Also has nice looking Lokar oil dipstick and Lokar transmission dipstick.
What it needs:
Okay, so the car does run and drive... but it is not road worthy yet.
The wiring needs finished, the engine is wired up with the hinson harness, but nothing else. The guage cluster isnt wired yet (I do have the Dakota Digital box). THe PCM needs to be mounted and the wires tucked up and out of the way. It is just currently laying on the floor. The transmission needs to be wired in. The shifter and linkage are all hooked up correctly but the trans doesnt shift on its own. I think its in the wiring. COuld just be a connector not plugged in?
Most of the interior needs installed back into the car. Someone was in the process of converting from tan to black and did not finish. Alll that is in the car right now is the dash, seats, headliner, and center console. I have MOST, but not all, of the rest of the interior. Someone tried to paint the stock tan leather seats with black spray paint....and they look terrible. I think the paint will come off with some elbow grease. There are no rips though. I dont have the carpet because I was going to buy a brand new black carpet kit.
When I got the car the hood was all the way shut all the way and now it wont close completely for some reason.
Overall, the car has awesome potential and really just needs someone with time to finish it up and the skills to do a little wiring.
Alot of money has been spent on this car, it has the quality parts on it and was not just thrown together. It has the full HINSON swap kit. You could part it out and make quite a bit off of it, or finish it and have a head turning rocket.
Right now I just dont have the time for it, and want to get back into a daily-driver LS1 F-body. Open to trades.
