So I am confused it says your pics are from last year. Has the car only run for 5 minutes in the last year? Any work done to the suspension or transmission? Any other issues with the car?

Feel free to email me at
boldtx@aol.com

Thanks
Jeremy

Yeah those pictures are old and the car has been sitting in the garage for about 10 months now because I joined the military. Right before I left for basic I had the engine rebuilt. It has new sleeves in it as well. Only fired it up for 5 mins or so after reinstalling everything only to realize the clutch fork retainer clip wasn't holding the clutch fork so I could bleed the clutch. It's a super easy fix once the trans is pulled off I just have no time to do it. It has stance coil overs on the car and the transmission works fine, has the normal 5 gear grind if you shift to fast but other than that no issues.

A: These motors don't have sleeves
B: This is a Evo 9 if it is a 2005, which matches the gauge cluster, but has the 8 front bumper
C: Is it the 8 motor or a mivec motor?
D: Pm me with your cash price if i came and picked it up

Don't dirty his thread from your lack of knowledge

2005 are still evo 8 and the first year to receive the acd system.

And it's possible to sleeve a iron block, just more cost effective to get another core.

BUMP, fired the car up today. Runs great and sounds amazing. I will be working on the car shortly and fixing the clutch retainer clip issue and getting the car drivable again.

No thanks z28-4-chris. BUMP, I fixed the retainer clip issue. Drove it around town today! Now all the car needs is a oil change and a tune. I will also be doing a compression test in a couple weeks.

BUMP new pictures, I have been driving the car a lot lately to get the engine broken in and get ready for some 91oct tuning. Currently I have put 470 miles on the new engine.

Once I get 800 miles on the engine my tuner will start tuning it to get a nice conservative tune.

Y don't the tuner break it in on the dyno. They usually recommend that..

The car is getting a E-tune, it will be tuned remotely and a true street tune to the atmosphere the car is in on a daily basis. There isn't any awd dyno's where i currently live. Also want the car to be tuned with a real engine load in real driving conditions for the best possible tune.
