2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS.6
Year: 2000
Make: Pontiac
Model: Firebird
Price: $6500
Mileage: 126000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NC
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
I'm selling because the car started loosing coolant, I got too busy with school to work on it and had anouther car to drive around, and it missed the inspection date.
LS1 T-56. V8 Manual, 6 speed.
126,500 miles.
The Good:
Factory Hurst Shifter.
T-Tops.
SLP lid.
Superhawk hood. Very similar to a Firehawk hood.
Long tube headers, Magnaflow high flow catback.
Rear end rebuilt 5,000 miles ago.
Transmission rebuilt 3,000 miles ago. Texas Drivetrain and Performance did the rebuild. It is their Stage 2 kit. They specialize in T-56 diagnostics and rebuilding. Highest recommendation from LS1Tech.
New suspension (Koni Sport shocks, Strano Springs, Strano swaybars with new poly bushings) installed by Atlas Automotive 2,500 miles ago. This is THE best suspension to have, as specified by LS1Tech.
Quality ride and excellent handling.
Complete brake system refresh 2,500 miles ago. New calipers, rotors, and pads.
New tires 2,500 miles ago. Nitto NT555s on the front, Mickey Thompson Sportsmans on the rear. Forged wheels came off of a Corvette.
New battery 7 months ago.
Tick Performance Clutch Master Cylinder installed 5 months ago. This fixes the common clutch pedal issue.
Car does not burn oil.
Car has T-Tops which do not leak.
Brass gears installed on headlights. Headlights have worked every time.
The bad:
Car is loosing coolant and I am not sure why.
Car has not passed inspection, because I haven't driven it since it started loosing coolant, got busy with school, and didn't get it re-inspected.
Most of the interior is in good shape, but the front seats have seen use and have some rips and tears. Driver's seat is much worse then the passengers.
Clearcoat missing on front and rear. Some paint damage as well, normal 13 year old car. Small amount of paint missing due to a tow hitch.
Driver's side window is slow to roll up, but still works.
Asking 6.5k. It has a solid amount of money into it, but I don't want to see it sit at my house not being driven, and if I fix it I'd end up selling it anyways.
Not desperate to sell, I'd just like to see it get use and love from someone who will drive it more then me.
Here are some pictures for you guys.

Would you be interested in trading for a 1976 Firebird?

I haven't messed with it in a while. It had a leaking water pump, but I replaced it and the problem wasn't fixed. I then ran out of time to work on it so I haven't driven it. Price is relatively firm.
