Decided to sell the Trans Am....looking for a truck. This car is virtually unabused....5.7L LS1 350ci / T-56 6-speed transmission. The car gets about 19 mpg driving to and from work, but will get 27 on the highway. I recently sold my race car as well (900 hp 2002 SS Camaro), and left all the racing to that car....not the Trans Am. The Trans Am RARELY ever sees more than 3000 RPM's. It's always garage kept, barely ever saw rain or wet roads. I really have babied this car, and it's been nothing but good to me. I bought it with 60k miles on it...it currently has 110k miles, and I have not had one single issue with this car. It has some work done, but the heads have never been off the motor. It has a mild cam (Comp Cam 222/224 .586/.588 112 LSA), Edelbrock Victor Jr. long tube headers, custom 3" Y-pipe into a 4" single with a 4" Dynomax bullet muffler dumped at the axle. It sounds a lot faster than it is. All of the parts were professionally installed, including a full dyno tune, by RPM Motorsports in Garner, North Carolina. It also has a Richmond rear end, with 3.73 gears, both of which were installed before I bought the car. It put down 400 rwhp on the dyno with a safe, streetable tune. Here is some other stuff that's been done to the car....
Halogen headlight conversion
Brand new Pioneer touch screen Navigation/MP3/SD card/USB, Bluetooth, etc.... (DoubleDinMods Bezel)
Hurst short throw shifter
Tinted windows
Tinted taillights/running lights
Painted top, mirrors, and top of spoiler (black)
T-top shades included
Custom wheels/Tires - Fronts - 17x9.5 with 275/40/17 Nitto NT05's - Rears - 18x11's with 315/30/18 Hankook RS3's
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. It's the last year these were made....going to be a collector one day. I'm firm on the price....I don't need to sell it, and the more I drive it with the tops off, the more I don't want to sell it. The only trades I would really be interested in are for 1500 - 2500 HD GM trucks(gas-no diesel) of equal or lesser value. Truck must be 4wd. Please call or text with questions...leave a message if I don't answer. Thanks. Asking $11,500.
