I purchased this car for my father, as a Fathers Day gift. This car was his favorite car, and one he had many years. My siblings grew up in this exact car. Well.. Like anybody else who sold or traded a classic car back in the day, he regretted getting rid of it. So I found one EXACTLY like his, and surprised him for Fathers Day.
Well.. He is getting older, and this car is quite large. It doesn't get driven, but has stayed in his garage since it was given to him.
This car is All original. Has the correct tires, original spare, etc. I even have the original Packard plug wires. The car has ~60k miles. The interior is absolutely amazing for the year. The pictures I have of this car are before I washed/detailed it, and we do live in Oklahoma. So the car is a little dirty (especially the floors-grass).
All the power options work. Speedometer and dash lights/gauges all work like they should. This car does not have a B-pillar, so driving with the windows down is quite fun. Top is in super shape as well. No rips or cuts of any kind. The headliner is just like the rest of the interior, and near flawless. The pictures of the interior, do not do it justice. Simple as that. All the doors open and shut better than most new cars.
I have updated the ignition, with all new plugs, wires, rotor, cap, points, etc, and new fuel filter and pcv valve. The motor sounds VERY healthy!!!
Like any all original classic, the car does need work.
Now the bad things.
The front brakes need to be re-done before it is driven again. Right front wheel cylinder has gone bad. In all honesty, I will probably do shoes, lines, master cyl. wheel cyl. etc before the car is sold, but if not, that is something I can work out with potential buyers.
The car does have rust spots. Pans are solid, but the underside of the car could use some refreshing here and there. Typical ~50 year old car.
Car is located in eastern Oklahoma.
Price Lowered from $5500 to $3250.
Trades will be considered, but only for something I can leave outside. It is quickly approaching the time where I will have to store this car, and my toy box is full.... Would be nice to sell it before I have to re-arrange everything.
That being said,

This first picture is the day I gave it to Him. Outside was clean and detailed. The others, are from the day it came off the trailer to me. Not clean by any means.
