LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

So Ive always said that Im going to take this car from stock to built before i sell it and get a C6 Z06. Well I've stumbled across a pretty darn good deal on a C6Z so that dream may end early. This car will only be for sale for as long as the car I'm looking at is for sale.

Full rundown here (see pages 5-7 for current state):
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...-page-3-a.html

As of 2 weeks ago, I sold the 80lb injectors and bought FIC 127s. I have a 3bar map sensor that i want to put in and then i was going to get a retune in spring and go for 850hp. I was also going to send the fuel pumps to lonnie and have him upgrade them to support over 1000hp on E85

The car spent 95% of the past summer at 12-14lbs which is right around 700hp. I turned it up to 15lbs expecting to hit the track at the end of the year but it got rained out. The last month or so of fall i ran around on 15lbs and loved it. Car runs like a dream, with no mechanical issues whatsoever. Ive had it on multiple 200+mi roadtrips and got ~17mpg on the highway.

Full parts list since you have to dig through the thread:

K1 6.125" connecting rods
K1 3.622" forged crank
01-02 WS6 Speedlines with brand new front tires (mounted) and brand new m&h rear drag radials (not mounted)

The bad?
Car has a salvage title, i can show you the carfax. Was wrecked in the rear quarter before i got it. BUT it was a South Carolina car has absolutely no rust ANYWHERE.
The wreck lead to re-paint which is why the engine bay/door jambs do not match. The car was originally read, previous owner had it painted the custom orange it is now. The paint (and im pretty picky) is a 7/10. Very solid 5-10ft car, get up close and you can see some things.
The power steering chirps on cold start ups. Its really annoying but goes away when its at operating temp. It is something I was going to take care of in spring.

$14,000. The extras may go with it for the asking price, Mileage is just over 50k, boosted for the last ~5k. Car is in Cleveland Ohio. (FWIW there are over 15K in parts alone, the car comes free )

Making questionable financial decisions. Im close to pulling the thread down, the more i think about it, the more i need boost. I cant hop into a stock car and not leave it alone, although ON3 is about to release their C6Z kit..

Oh yeah, 6 months ago. I've regained my conscience and decided to keep it so the next time you stumble into town with your cute Firechicken, it can get caboosed by it.
