I purchased this car new from Indiana, drove it home to Illinois, and made sure the front plate was never mounted. Every refuel was 91-93 octane premium and every oil change was Mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic done by me. When I do get the opportunity to take it out, I always get compliments on the appearance and the sound.
Three MINOR paint/body defects shown in last photo. I have avoided any repairs because they are almost invisible, and I feared any color mis-match may appear worse.
Sorry, I am not looking for trades. If I do not answer, please leave a message and I will return your call ASAP. Vehicle is also for sale elsewhere, so I reserve the right to remove this posting at any time.
Thanks for looking!

You mid west guys are missing the boat here.......a low mileage, rust free, one owner SS. $16000, someone needs to wake up and buy this one. Can't be many left like it in the rust belt.

The mid-west probably sports the highest concentration of these cars in mint condition. That might be in part due to the large number of specialty car dealers in those states (IN, IL, OH, WI, MI, IA, MN). So you're having to deal with a fairly high concentration of mint SS's and WS6's from that region. It doesn't matter that it's the rust belt. The numerous cars that were saved since day one weren't driven in the winter. A quick check of autotrader or ebay always shows a lot of these cars for sale from this region in the <30K mile range, many of them under 15K miles (lots of dealers that specifically go after these cars and stock them). In the northeast there aren't very many of these F bodies around at all. But if you're in the south, south west, or lower west coast, there's also plenty of them to choose from.
It's a beautiful car. It's advertised nationally on the autotrader so if it's priced right a cash buyer will eventually come knocking. There's a similar 2002 SS in pewter on Ebay (1 owner, no mods). There are enough nice cars out there. It's the buyers that are scarce.
