LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

SOLD.

This is without a doubt one of the nicest Gen 1 Vs in the country for sale, owned by the original owner who is meticulous and spared absolutely no expense with this car. The only reason for selling is due to newer toys being accumulated, and now this V sits around not being driven as often. This V was only driven in nice weather, otherwise it sat in a climate controlled garage on a battery tender. It has only used synthetic fluids that were changed on very short intervals, essentially religiously maintained. There are absolutely no issues or stories with this car, it is just a stunning vehicle. You must come see it and drive it to truly appreciate the performance, quality, and condition of this V.

As for the condition, I think the pictures say 1,000 words. I will say that the regular routine for the paint was using a clay bar, followed by a high-speed polish with a fine cutting compound, then topped off with a high quality paint sealer and wax. The paint is black, shiny, and deep - you can do your hair in the reflection. There isn't a ding, dent, or even a hint of a swirl mark to be found. The condition inside is equally as meticulous. It was always kept spotless with ardex leather conditioner applied frequently to all leather surfaces.

Around September of 2008 (18,000 miles), this car was sent to Mallet for the following: forged 372 cid LS6 motor with a mild cam/supporting valvetrain mods, upgraded pulley work, front mount intercooler, kooks coated headers and high flow cats, magnaflow rear exhaust, K-Sport fully adjustable coilovers, and a short-throw shifter. Then around 28,000 miles (5,000 miles ago), the engine was rebuilt by Billy Briggs at motorcity speed (now a 383 cid), along with mounting the professionally painted forgeline wheels wrapped in new NT05 tires. A new RPS twin disk carbon clutch was installed at this time too, which as everyone knows is the best all around LSx clutch that money can buy. The car made 527 rwhp on the dyno originally, and is estimated to be around 540+ rwhp with the new motor setup and tune after the second build. This V is an absolute rocket with a nice exotic sound to it at wide open throttle. When babying it around town it is quiet, docile, and drives nearly like stock even with a very slight cam lope. (See video under pictures)

Powertrain mods:
- 372 cid forged LS6 built by Mallet (rebuilt by Billy Briggs 5,000 miles ago now it is a 383 cid)
- Magnuson MP 112 supercharger kit
- front mount intercooler
- kooks coated long tube headers, high flow cats
- Magnaflow rear exaust
- K-sport fully adjustable coilover suspenion
- RPS twin carbon clutch (5,000 miles ago)
- Ron Davis upgraded radiator
- Built trans
- Upgraded 4th gen diff with anti hop kit

Other extras:
- Professionally painted Forgeline rims with new NT05 tires (5,000 miles ago)
- OEM CTS-V rims in excellent condition with new MT drags on rears (used for about 5 passes)

Asking price is $33,000 or best offer with all wheels and spare parts included.

I have just listed $30,000 in mods alone. To replicate this car would cost someone $60,000+, so this is a great deal for someone looking for this type of car.

In terms of a well rounded all around performer that is mint as can be (and for sale), probably yes.

It is a 383 now, not a 396. Sorry for the confusion.

Some interest on buyers for the Mallet wheels, so this may be on stock wheels soon with price reflecting.

For those asking about the wheels, they were $3500 from Mallet +$1000 for paint right before the all new NT05 all around - not driven much on this setup. So to separate wheels I'd need to get $2500 to make it work. Thanks.

Thanks OneSWTRide, but I am not interested in unloading at that price unless all other leads fall through. Thanks, I appreciate your time and offer regardless. Maybe after these next few guys come see it over the next couple of weeks things could change. Good luck searching either way, these are great cars for the money.
