Hello Slow94Formula,
I appreciate your concerns with the car and I apologize that you're setup does not run as efficiently as mine. But as you and everyone else knows, EVERY setup will respond differently even if they are sharing similar parts and/or specs. They’re are simply way too many variables to prove your “bench racing” remarks to be accurate. As I have been with every person that has PMed me, I have no issues answering any questions or providing any type of documentation to anyone who is serious about purchasing the vehicle. If you are interested in this vehicle, please feel free to PM me and I will go over any questions you may have. If not I kindly ask that you refrain from posting your opinions and thoughts about the car out of this thread as I would prefer not to clutter it with posts from people that are not interested.
Thanks in advance,
Kev

First off, beautiful car, and great build!
Hopefully this will be a free bump for you.
I've seen quite a few posts of killer builds like yours, where the ad states that the car has only made low boost or 'shakedown' passes, and that's it. As you said, the car just needs to have the boost turned up to go for your personal best.
I have no doubt this car has the capability to run in the 8's, as you stated... I'm just curious. I know you said your priorities have changed since you're buying a house, but did you lose interest to take it to the track on a high boost setting? Or is there another big hurdle that needs to be passed in order to do that?
Please don't misunderstand, I'm not questioning your build, I'm just wondering what it is that prevents you from hitting the track on high boost, since I've seen similar response on quite a few for sale ads. Does the build just drain your motivation (I know that feeling!)
Feel free to respond via PM.
Thanks for your time, and good luck with the sale!

As much as I hate to admit it, I simply lost all interest in the car… maybe I just went way to big way to fast. I finally accepted it after the car sat for over two years only to be started and moved to get into my attic. It kills me to sell it, it’s my baby, I’ve bought this car when I was 18 back in 2006 and god knows how much time and money I have put into it since then. But what good is the car to just rot away in the garage? As for any big hurdles, isn’t everything a big hurdle when you are pushing big HP like this? Maybe a stand alone would be the next on the list, or a cage if I wanted to make it a race car.
The way it sits now I’m sure it could go 8s with tires and a tune. But as everyone knows when pushing a car to its limits, any unforeseen obstacles can pop up, obstacles I’m just simply not willing to pay for or deal with. I was enjoying the car at 10lbs for a while before it went into hibernation, but honestly I would rather drop a few thousand into my house buying a new couch and dining room set over spending any more money on this car. I remember there was a time I told myself I would never sell this car, now instead of researching on tech all day I’m seeing what pool table would be better for the feng shui in my living room… So yeah, I guess you can say the build drained my motivation, or getting older, or both!
Thanks for taking the time to check the car out!
