Selling my long term project now that it is completed.

Turbocharged 2000 Pontiac firebird. Car is currently at Straightline Performance in Joliet Illinois getting dyno work done. Current tune is pump gas and has at this point is getting upgraded coils as we are breaking up over 5200 RPM's. Still has laid down 680RWHP at 5200 RPM on pump gas on a their mustang dyno. Likely will see mid 700's at least bringing it up to 7800 RPM once coils are upgraded. Capable of over 1000whp racing fuel or with bigger injectors and e85.

Fuel system is walbro 255LPH for daily with a stealth 340 for backup. All lines are braided with -8 feed and -6 return. Aeromotive rails and Adjustable progressive 1:1 regulator. Injectors are 83 lb/hr delphi blue's.

Forged LQ4 with ported heads and oversized stainless valves. Built by Dowker Racing in Charlotte MI. No expense spared as engine was built to hold 1200WHP+. Large cam (LEP Magnacharger 632/632 with CTSVr lifters, Rollermaster timing, texas speed ported oil pump, patriot gold dual valve springs with titanium locks and retainers as well as chromoly push rods. All fasteners ARP.

Turbo is a Comp CT43 7879. This turbo is AMAZING! I have had a garrett, borg warner, and precision on the car and this one spools faster and pulls better at lower boost. Little to no lag time. Triple ceramic ball bearing with billet CHRA and Incolnel wheel. 78mm t4 1.05 divided AR. Capeable of 1200hp

Transmission i a TR6060 from D&D performance in Wixom Mi. Has blowproof bell housing and is built to out do the viper spec t56 that was in it. Clutch is a Mcleod Twin disc.

Exhaust is single 3" with a 3" sound performance boost actuated cutout out the right front fender. Putting the engine up on the 2 step let's you launch some pretty wicked fireballs while spooling the turbo.

Chasis and Suspension has all been upgraded with all 4 corners QA1 single adjustable shocks. Panhard rod, rear contol arms, 6 point subframe connectors, BMR driveshaft loop, Edelbrock torque arm, UMI tunnel mount crossmember, BMR k member, burkhart chasis front bumper support, and Hotchkis strut tower brace all tubular. Vehicle also has a 6 point cage modified and gusseted for strength to avoid flexing. This cage has not been certified.

Rear end was built by DTS in Ionia Michigan. It is a Moser 12 bolt with a detriot trutrac locker, Moser axles with c clip elimination. Has a 3:73 gear set and a DTS girdle cover. Driveshaft is Chromoly.

Interior is barely stock. Drivers seat is Sparco Rev. Pass seat Scat. Steering wheel is Sparco as well. Both seats have RHS camlock 4 point harnesses with current SFI certifications. Every gauge is aftermarket. Does not have original cluster anymore. All gauges are Autometer Ultralite 2. Picture of gauges is attached but there is also: Fuel level, Fuel Pressure, Voltage, and Oil pressure.

There are multiple other modifications done to this car. Outside the body panels, front control arms, and front wheel bearings, everything is upgraded. Vehicle had about 52k miles on it before modifications started. Car was a v6 automatic when started.

Engine compartment has been smoothed, filled, and sprayed. Engine compartment is immaculate. Pictures do not do it justice.

The Bad: I have all the ws6 body parts for this, sadly they are currently white. Would consider having them color matched and installed for the right price. Stereo has a blown sail panel speaker. I have a complete stereo system ready to go in from head unit to every last speaker. This would be optional to the buyer.

I want to continue to list all the other modifications, but likely am missing many. Wastegates and BOV are TIAL and it has a MBC. Literally the only stock components are listed above. Engine wiring and fuse panel has been relocated behind the dash so little to no wiring is showing.

Rims that come with the car will be the Enkei 3 peice 17". Tires are brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE760 275/45R17 and it will also come with 2 Mickey Thompson ET streets 2's with a few passes on them 295/40R17.
Car has went the 10.72 at 129 on 8psi and 9 degrees of timing with the 6 speed. We had traction problems and no 2 step that day. Yes I am that guy right now making excuses. Regardless, it can go single digits easy.

$17,000 or trade for similar priced vehicle.

To the point about upgrades I am forgetting, Tick adjustable Master cylinder, Pro 5.0 shifter, SLP line lock, Griffin Radiator, Meziere Street water pump, changed fuel tank to metal so fuel fittings come out bottom of tank, battery relocated to rr, Braided power steering lines, battery switch in rear, SFI balancer, Wiseco pistons (-20cc 9.2:1 comp ratio) carillo rods, forged crank (honest to god forgot brand, I think dragonslayer but not 100%. Hell fire piston rings, coated tri armor bearings, etc…

Up top. Most trades have been for similar build vehicles. I would entertain trades that I could sell of equal value that would have a larger audience. Corvette, gt500, ctsv, trucks, etc....

Thanks man. I am working on my other one right now. 2.5 hours on the passenger strut tower to get that smothed out. Gives you an idea how much time can go into these engine compartments.

That sounds like an amazing car! I am really more looking to trade for something less niche to sell. I am looking to get out of the street car scene and into rally. Otherwise I would for sure hit you up!

I never grabbed the final dyno sheet. I emailed Mike at straightline so I should have it soon. Not saying until I see the number myself.

Car will drive anywhere fine. Easy dd if you wanted it to be.

Final dyno attached. New valve springs are in the way to fix the obvious valve float.
Big cam+ aggressive profile + aftermarket rockers+ larger vakves+ 16psi= .650 spring not cutting it.

Car is now torn down and being swapped into a roller. Red chassis will be sold as a roller with factory rear and no engine or trans. Thread is closed.
