This is car belongs to a friend of mine (that doesn't go on message boards at all). He purchased it new in hopes of preserving it to be a collector's item. It did not quite pan out that way. Nevertheless, The car is PRISTINE! The car has been garaged since new. Never driven in the rain/snow. Been professionally detailed regularly.

He ordered the car with all the available options for that year:
Recaro seats
5.0 HO (4 barrel carb)
T-5 manual transmission
Power seat
Leather
Cassette headunit with 5-band equalizer
Power antenna
Leather wrapped steering wheel
Posi rear end
4 wheel disc brakes
all the power options
A/C (works great)

The Richard Straman Coachworks convertible conversion was a special thing in 1983-1984 on the Camaro and Firebird. GM did not make these cars as a convertible from the factory. Coachworks was located in Costa Mesa. Straman was known for converting cars from Ferrari, Bentley, Mercedes Benz, Etc. His work was impeccable and not cheap.

All records and applicable paperwork including window sticker, brochures, and all maintenance paperwork will be provided to the buyer.

The vehicle is smogged, registered, and Clean title in hand. It is located in Mission Viejo, CA

Let me know if you have any questions....I am happy to help facilitate a viewing/purchase.

Really like to have it, we have a 89 vert also. Is the door same color? Original paint? I think the angle makes it look off. Clean car and rare.

That car is amazing. I'd bet to the right Trans Am collector it wouldn't lest 5 minutes. IT really should be on Ebay to find that collector.
