Default 2002 35th LE SS, 25K miles, 423 hp / 389 tq

Year: 2002
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $15000
Mileage: 25032
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CT
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

I am looking to sell my 6 speed, 35th Anniversary SS so I can get into the seat of a C6 Grand Sport or ZO6. It currently has 25,032 miles as of February 2015 and is in great condition inside and out! The interior is great shape with no tears in the seats or cracks in plastic. The exterior has a few typical rock chips in the front. It has 2 small white scratches on the corner of the rear bumper that you can barely see (I will get pics of these). Before I bought it, I wanted to see the Carfax and it shows an accident where the owner hit a deer in 2002 or 2003 on the driver side fender I believe. Everything was fixed and you cannot tell anything happened. VIN number is 2G1FP22G422113391

I have only had this car for a year now and purchased it from Motorcars Las Vegas and drove it back to South Dakota with no problems. I have a clean and clear title in hand. Since purchase I have added the wheels, tires, tint, clear lid setup, oil catch can, and had it tuned by Don at Slowhawk Performance. The car runs AMAZING after Don did his magic on it and it drives like stock. On his mustang dyno it put down 423rwhp/390rwtq. I have a stack of receipts from previous owners as well. It is a great car that gets a lot of compliments whenever I do drive it. The sound system sounds AMAZING and the dynamat in the car really keeps it quiet. With the cutouts open, it sounds like straight headers and when they are closed, it goes through the stock catback and out the CME and quiet as the day it left the factory.

I think in the last year, driving it around town I have only put maybe a few hundred miles on it. I did buy it in Vegas and drove back to South Dakota which was over 1,000 miles, then I towed it on a flat trailer to Pennsylvania for a few months, and drove it 450 miles to Connecticut this summer. Besides that, it rarely sees the roads here and since November it has been in a storage unit near my house on jacks and trickle charger. I start it up every other weekend and have not had any issues with it. It is paid off so I have a clean title in hand. I do not NEED to sell it so please do not low ball me. I am asking $15,000 obo. I hope the ad answers a lot of questions but if anyone is interested, please email me at aaron.waite1@gmail.com since I do not get on the forum much. I am located in Danbury, Connecticut so I could travel around the New England area to deliver the car if need be. I have sold many parts on here and sold my last SS 5 years ago on LS1tech so I am an honest seller. I am also active duty military so that should count for something right? For some reason I do not have any interior shots on my phone but can get them this week so I apologize for that. Car will also come with a set of factory C5 Y2K 17/18" wheels and tires that were on it when I purchased it. They are chrome with TPMS sensors but the chrome is bad on them.

Engine/Drivetrain Mods:

Aftermarket cam (specs uknown) (receipt says LS6 cam but it is much larger)

Ported/polished/milled LS6 heads

SLP longtube headers

Mike Norris oil catch can (installed after picture was taken)

QTP low profile electric cutouts (sounds like open headers and with the flip of a switch is quiet as stock)

MTI clear lid

Ported/polished MAF

Motive 3.73 gears

Suspension:

SLP springs in rear/BMR on front

SLP weld in subframe connectors

SLP driveshaft loop

Interior/Exterior:

Lou’s short stick

Hurst shift ****

Yofab t-top shades

Gauge pod on A pillar (volts, temp, vacuum) (only gauge that is hooked up is volts)

Pioneer Headunit

MTX 12” subwoofer in stealth box

Diamond Audio components in front and coaxials in rear all wired to an amplifier (sounds amazing)

Dynamat installed in trunk

OEWheels C5 Y2K deep dish 18x9.5/18x10.5 wheels

Nitto 305 drag radials on rear (less than 1k miles on them)

Falken FK425 tires on front (less than 1k miles on them)

When I bought the car it had a manual fan switch mounted to the fog light switch and this green light was for the Snow Performance meth kit on the car. I removed all of it and did not want an ugly hole in the bezel which is why the green light is still there. I went to a junkyard and picked up another fog light switch to temporarily replace the messed up “blank” that should have been in the radio bezel. I have an ASR switch that will come with the car, I don’t think it has ASR though and I never put it in but it looks better with a fog switch and ASR switch as opposed to two fog switches.

Cold start up video from last Saturday

Idle video back in May (cam is not as choppy anymore after Don smoothed it out)

Dyno video from June (My friend just set up his Mustang dyno and gave me some free pulls. It was running rich and still did 392 rwhp)

Link to my Photobucket album if anything does not show up

Nice car. About the same miles as mine, be curious to see what you get out of it.

Ya I'm curious too. It's hard to put a price on a more rare SS than the common ones I see on here. I looked all over the Internet to see what they're selling for and tried to think of a fair price.

I think its priced pretty fair. Prob start to get a few bites with tax returns and nice weather coming up. Good luck with the sale.

Make me an offer! I wanted a 35th or SOM and found this last year. 6 months later the wife says to get a corvette. Strange but I'm not gonna argue!

Just wanted to say nice SS and also being a customer of Don @ Slowhawk Performance, I'm sure the tune was done perfectly. GLWS.

Thank you

I'd say Don is one of the premier tuners out there. His customer service and the way he treats everyone's car like it's his own is awesome. He let me walk around the shop and talked to me about all the builds he had going on while he was in the middle of a project. He had a '12 centennial grand sport in there when this was tuned and I fell in love with it which is why I want a C6.

I wanted to update the thread with interior pics. These were taken yesterday when I went to start it up, get up to operating temp, and drive around the storage unit a few times.
