2000 Pontiac Firebird.
Was a base model but now has trans am k member, rear end, and brakes.
Car is in great shape. Has a small damaged area to hood is only body issue.
*Engine compartment has been all welded up, filled, smoothed, and painted a beautifully matched red with loads of clear and hardner so you really can not damage this paint. Front end is cut out for turbo build. All wiring has been relocated to behind the passenger side dash. All air bags and HVAC system has been removed and AC delete panel on. RF fender is cut out for 3" dump.
* Has roll cage in the vehicle. Chromoly tubing.
*UMI 6 point subframe connectors welded in.
*Battery relocated to RR. Will need a battery box. All wiring ran and battery disconnect switch in the back of the car still installed.
*Fuel system in the vehicle was converted to a 1998 metal tank. AN fittings come out the base of the tank pressurizing fuel through the -8 feed line and -6 return (Stainless braided tubing used for e85). Aftermarket fuel level sensor to use Autometer gauge.
*FuelTank has 2 pumps. One Aeromotive Stealth 355. The other a walbro 255. I had the 355 run at all times and the 255 kick on when I hit 4 psi.
*Limited slip rear differential and all brakes are drilled and slotted.
* Comes with Scat racing seat and 1 RCI Camlock racing harness that is brand new.
* center console has switch panel for fans, waterpumps, cut outs, line lock, etc...
The bad
* The obvious hood damage right in the front of the nose about 1 inch back where I raised the car with the hood straight up and it touched a rafter.
* Dash cover or whatever the heck that plastic peice is in front of the dash shattered when i went to remove it.
* Will come with stock front seats as well. But it is hideous grey from a 1998 trans am. No back seats.
* one speaker behind the driver is blown in the monsoon system.
It is really a beautiful car. If your building a turbo street car you want to show off a little, this car would be great. It won multiple awards at shows and was an absolute blast to drive. I am only moving on because I am going twins and had to modify the engine compartment of the new car drastically to make it cleaner. I also want AC back so my wife will stop complaining.
