Model: Camaro
Price: $12000
Mileage: 33300
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NC
Color: Orange
Transmission: Manual

LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

It has come time to sell my Camaro. I'll be sad to see her go, but it's time for something new...

The car is a Hugger Orange '99 Z28 with only 33k miles. I bought it in 2010 with 19k miles on it. The car has never seen snow while I have owned it. It is a T-Top car, and I have never noticed any leaks during rain. Both interior and exterior are in great shape. Leather seats show minor creases, but no cracks or tears. Carpet is in great shape. Only a few minor scrapes in the body. Clean title.

Does not burn or leak oil, or any other fluids. Engine holds 40 PSI oil pressure at warm idle.

Mods
  • Pacesetter Long Tube Headers
  • Comp Cam (.613/.576 lift, 227/234 duration)
  • TSP Catted Y-pipe
  • Magnaflow exhaust
  • MGW short-throw shifter

The headers are emissions compliant, so I have had no trouble passing NC state testing.

Recent (non-routine) Maintenance
  • New alternator installed in 2014
  • New clutch installed in 2013
  • New accessory belt installed in 2015
  • New brake rotors in 2013
  • Passenger side window motor replaced in 2015
  • New battery in 2015

Blemishes
  • Few minor dings in the body
  • Driver side door has minor chip (see photos)
  • Plastic clip holding shift boot is cracked; just need to order a replacement
  • Care has CD changer, but it doesn't always work
  • Passenger side mirror motor doesn't always work

Cam installed and car tuned by Mayhem Motorsports in Raleigh. Put down 381 RWHP.

Rubber is currently 275/40/17 Nitto NT05 all around on black alloy rims. The tires are getting towards the end of their tread life. I have the original Z28 rims if wanted.

[EDIT]Black stripes are decals that came on the car when I bought it. I believe they are dealer applied, but I cannot confirm. They are in great shape with no peeling or cracking.

Asking $12k, but price is negotiable.

Please PM me for details or contact information. Car is located in the Raleigh-Durham area.

Got some questions about the black stripes, so I've updated the post.

Black stripes are decals that came on the car when I bought it. I believe they are dealer applied, but I cannot confirm. They are in great shape with no peeling or cracking.

Some more information on the cam/clutch setup:

Clutch:
- McCloud RST Twin Disk
- RAM Billet Steel Flywheel
- New GM master/slave cylinders + pilot bearing

Cam:
- 227/234
- 614/576 lift
- 113+2 lobe separation
- Hardened push rods
- Brian Tooley Racing .660" Platinum valve springs with titanium retainers

I'll consider any reasonable, serious offers.
