Default 2000 GMC C2500 Crew Cab Short Bed

Price: $5500
Mileage: 242
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing

2000 C2500 GMC Crew Cab Short Bed. Due to a upcoming move out of state, I'm thinning the heard and pooling my cash together for a newer truck that I can work out of. I had plans to do a 6.0 Swap and helper bags for a fun tow pig for toys, but I didn't get that far. In the list below you'll see that she has a lot of miles. The truck runs, drives, and shifts extremely well. I actually think that the motor must have been replaced by a previous owner at some point, but I cant prove that. It just runs too good for the miles it has and it to be the original motor. Either way, I have invested some time and money into and its a damn nice daily driver that doesn't give me any issues. It could be a fun tow pig/family hauler for the right person.

Willing to negotiate on price. We are moving back to FL and I will be trying out a business venture, so I need a work rig. That's the only reason I am selling. I didn't build it with intentions to get rid of it. Wife got a amazing job offer, so things change.

Default 5.7

they stopped with the 5.7s inn 98 i thought. went with 4.8/ 5.3s and 6.0s....i think. so if its a 5.7 in a truck it could be changed. who knows ...im sure its possible they udes a 5,7 in the bigger truck for that yr though. its a ls1 based engine still correct???they run forever

Well yes, they did start with the LS/LQ motors in 99 with the 1/2 tons. They continued production on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, and on some Suburbans and Tahoes in the old body style. So this truck is considered a 2000 Classic, much like 2007 Classic. The motor that in it is just a plain L31 5.7 Vortec.

Bump. Price dropped to bottom dollar for a quick and motivated sale. Nice daily driver with full sound system and cold AC.

No sorry, I'm really just needing to sell so I can pool enough cash together for a newer truck I can work out of. I'll edit the posting as far as trades go.

Records show it to have been in two minor accidents. I replaced some sheet metal from a donor truck. It has a clear Blue Texas Title, and drives straight.
