Willing to negotiate on price. We are moving back to FL and I will be trying out a business venture, so I need a work rig. That's the only reason I am selling. I didn't build it with intentions to get rid of it. Wife got a amazing job offer, so things change.

5.7
they stopped with the 5.7s inn 98 i thought. went with 4.8/ 5.3s and 6.0s....i think. so if its a 5.7 in a truck it could be changed. who knows ...im sure its possible they udes a 5,7 in the bigger truck for that yr though. its a ls1 based engine still correct???they run forever

Well yes, they did start with the LS/LQ motors in 99 with the 1/2 tons. They continued production on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, and on some Suburbans and Tahoes in the old body style. So this truck is considered a 2000 Classic, much like 2007 Classic. The motor that in it is just a plain L31 5.7 Vortec.
