Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing

I am listing this for a friend/co-worker who is not a member here. He knows this car inside and out and has dozens of high res photos of the car he can send your way, you can contact him directly at: (two zero seven) 699-8195 his name is Dale.

This is a 1997 Camaro Z28, T-top, 4AT, with only 20k original miles. It is immaculate and 100% stock and unmolested. Over 25 hours have been spent detailing this car and it looks incredible. It has a current Maine State Inspection sticker and needs absolutely nothing. Garage kept and never driven in winter. Tires were changed 4k miles ago. The car is located in Portland, Maine.

*Update* I got a bunch more photos of the car and uploaded them. Here's a link! https://goo.gl/photos/nvwyKpMezMnMw7mh6

An excellent specimen that is optioned ideally for my taste and appears to present properly for its purpose, mileage and price. Unfortunately, it's MUCH too far away.

Great car, good luck to him.

Arranging transport would not be a problem, but if it were me, I'd fly into Portland, eat some lobster, check out the fall foliage and then drive this home!

I don't/won't fly, but even if I did I wouldn't drive a car like this hundreds of miles home across unknown road and weather conditions. Transport would be the only option. The added cost and hassle of the trip there for inspection and then covered transport for the return trip is just too much for me at this time.

BUT, I really do hope it goes to a great home. I see so few really nice 4th gen Z28 A4 cars (my personal favorite arrangement), most have been daily driven, beaten, and/or just plain "used up". Such a nice example, it would make a great pair for my '98 but the overall circumstances just aren't practical for me.

Good luck to the owner and I hope this car finds the sort of home it deserves.

So my buddy still has this car and hasn't driven it since I posted it for him back in October. He said $9500 would take it home. Even if you ignore the fact that this thing is a muscle car, $9500 for ANY 20k mile car in immaculate condition is a darn good deal...

Please direct inquiries to Dale at (two zero seven) 699-8195

No trades at this time, please.

Still available. Reasonable offers will be considered, but again this is a 20k mile car that is turn key and ready to go. $9500 isn't a lot of money.

Still love this car, it's exceptionally nice with a reasonable asking price. Wish something like this would pop up in my area.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Still available. I know Maine is far for a lot of folks, however transportation can be arranged quite easily. As I mentioned in my initial post, Dale is a heck of a photographer and he will send you a couple hundred photos and video if you reach out to him. He's picky as heck and I have a pretty good eye for detail myself and this car is impressive. Someone should be driving this thing!

I realized that the photos I had posted did little to really show off the car, so I had the owner send me a bunch more and I've uploaded them for your viewing pleasure!
