$12k 2004 Corvette Z06 converted to convertible Heads/Cam built trans SATX
Year: 2004
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Price: $12000
Mileage: 93000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR CODES IN THE DIC
Here is a vid of it running for those who asked
The car has a salvage title from 2008, it required the rear bumper, deck lid, and quarter panel. At that time the car was converted to a convertible using all oem GM parts. This conversion is very rare and runs about $12k. I've never seen another one in person. I do have pics of the damage from 2008.
I just had a new HUD GM original windshield installed. The car drives perfect. The suspension feels as smooth as factory on the current settings. The DSS couplers did increase the NVH a bit, and the exhaust rubs on the DTE diff brace (easily removed and in high demand if you don't want it). All mods were chosen with drive-ability and reliability as the most important factors, eventually I was planning to road race it but as you know life gets in the way and I never even put a cage in. Car has never seen the drag strip.
$12,000 TX TITLE IN HAND The reason I'm selling is to acquire a vehicle from a friend of mine.

It absolutely can, the back is fine too, its just the seat bottom which is easy to replace. If it were me I would put a racing seat in it, but if they want to stick with stock the mod red seats pop up here and there or they could go to C6 seats relatively inexpensively as well.

Doesn't help either of us now, but if you still somehow have this car in 2-3 months, I'd buy it up for sure. I just hadn't planned on buying anything so soon. Good luck man! I can't figure out why people are so hesitant. If it's the salvage title, that's ridiculous. For a car this old, you're really not buying for resale value.
Tempted to sell my kidney, as I'm only a an hour or so away in Austin.
