Default 1966 El Camino 396

Mileage: 41000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): WI

1966 Chevrolet El Camino
396
TH400
10 Bolt w/ 3:08's

This is an excellent driving, solid street cruiser. Its not the fastest thing in the world, but its meant to go for those long cruise nights. Starts up with a peddle pump and go.

Stock rebuilt 402 w/ Open Chamber oval port heads meant for pump gas
Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake
Holley 3310 750 Vacuum Secondary carb
Hooker Full Length Headers
Flowmaster 3" True Dual Exhaust Kit
Borla ProXS 3" Mufflers
(in one of the pics, the tailpipes are not on, but I have them, just not installed yet. They are hidden and tucked behind rear wheels, not the straight out the back bumper kind)

This is an original A/C car and I have some parts for it. However it was incomplete system when I bought it so I pulled some of the items out and put an AGM A/C delete plate installed. I have a brand new American AutoWire Engine Harness that is for a NON-A/C car that is ready to be installed to clean up some of the underhood wiring.

TH400 with a column shift for that sleeper looking fun. Small stall converter, one step above a stock converter but don't have specific rpm point. Stock rebuild with a shift kit.

Body is solid, interior is really clean, bed is about what you would expect. Something you could still use for hauling if you wanted. Has a black soft tonneau cover that has some prop shocks to keep it up. No external buttons on the side of the body to ruin the clean looks.

Turn signals work, cancel cam and horn button on the steering wheel I replaced. Headlights, brights, etc... even the wipers work. Gotta have them on a street car.

Front end is solid, steering solid, power drum brakes stop better than the '70 GTO in the garage with it. The car is just a pleasure to drive. Had big plans for it, but just to fun of a street car and I am more of a racer looking to build something.

Can provide more pics if necessary. Can drive anywhere. Start off conversation with email and we can go from there.

$15,800 OBO
