What I would be interested in would be a STREET CAR. Now, this car is a street car by many people's definition. You can get in and drive it anywhere, as long as you are comfortable in a small car with a cage and no AC or heat. I am not, LOL. A street car to me is something I can take to work 60 miles on the interstate and be comfortable. It does not overheat, nor do I. That means AC and AC that works. A full interior, a reasonable set of gears with an O/D trans, manual preferred. I like all kinds of stuff, but I am really a Ford guy more than anything. I will say I have never owned a Corvette and I have always wanted a C5Z. I am open. I am just tired of having this car sit, as I really don't drive it much. Would rather see it go to a good home and get out there and kick ***. I have done all the hard work and sorted it out, it is ready to go. I am not a huge fan of F-Bodys, but I will still consider them.
This is a full 4 link backhalf car with wishbone. All frame rails replaced, everything tied together with an NHRA certified 8.50 cage with removable door bars. The car is stiff, goes straight and hooks in a carwash. It weighs 2600 pounds, with a full tank of gas. The cell is in the stock location and fills through the stock filler. It has a full interior with carpet, factory dash and recaro seats. The dash has been gutted and an AWIC sits in the passenger side footwell. There is plenty of room for a passenger to ride though.
-Gen IV iron block 5.3 with 243 heads, JFR Triple 12 cam, LS1 intake.
-MS3 Gold Box.
-Custom hotside with truck manifolds
-Borg Warner S480 with Billet wheel and 96mm hotside 1.32 A/R from --Forced Inductions. Turbosmart BOV. Aluminum cold side. AWIC, 5 gallon reservoir in hatch.
Magnafuel 750 pump. 1300 CC injectors, E85.
-1.76 Glide with scattershield, Billet PTC 9.5 inch converter, Hurst Quaterstick, large tranny cooler with fan.
-Narrowed 8.8 4 link setup with wishbone and ARB. 31 spline axles, spool, 3.27 gears.
-4 wheel discs, Wilwoods out back. Line lock (not hooked up).
-5 lug conversion. The front wheels have the proper offset as the hubs were turned down for correct spacing. Weld Drag Lites on all 4. M/T tires on all 4 with 28.5 Ws out back.
-The chassis was professionally set up and the car scaled. Data sheet will be supplied.
-The car was dyno and street tuned. It made 865/870 on 19 psi and 12 degrees of timing on E85.
-The only thing I know does not work is the speedo as it is not hooked up. Autometer gauges, Innovate wideband. Boost control by MS3 with dial a boost ****.
The car is easy to drive, works everywhere and is a turn key 8 second car. I have not even pushed the car in terms of boost and timing. I know it is cliche', but there is more in it for sure.
