Modifications, all by me:
-USX Desings superhawk hood - one of 5 or 6 built without heat extractors, and one of the last hoods Roger built. Painted by me. For those that recognize this hood, understand I will keep the hood if offer is low. Original hood included.
-Black-out rear lower bumper (shown in pics) to look like CTE. Painted by me.
-SLP air lid and K&N filter.
-Key Audio replacement speakers.
-NGK iridium plugs, MSD wires.
-Polyurethane trans and torque arm mount.
-Flowmaster muffler.
-UMI cross brace.
The good:
-Trans is flawless. Shifts perfectly.
-New paint work matches original color really well, and all paint is show ready. New paint on front bumper, superhawk hood, headlight covers, mirrors, driver quarter, and rear (about 2 years old) matches oringinal paint well and looks great.
-New window motors in both doors.
-New AC Delco power antenna.
-Underside photos show how clean this car is.
-T-top locks match door key.
-Stereo sounds great. New Key Audio speakers all around.
-Brakes have ~6,000 miles on them.
-Battery replaced ~1 year ago.
All paint-work used PPG base/clear and will last the life of the car.
The bad:
-Car was hit at some point in driver's quarter (not bad, I have photos of my re-work to prove this). I redid previous repair work with better results. Whatever happened wasn't bad enough to make a carfax report.
-Dash pad is cracked, as most are. Not horribly though.
-Door panels are cracked, as most are. I was able to repair the driver's side to be barely noticeable, but passenger is noticeable.
-Sun visors have seen better days (unlined t-tops have baked the top sides)
-Driver's seat is not torn, but beginning to show wear.
-Could use new tie-rod ends, I'm including new ones.
-One large (dime to nickel size) chip in new paint on bumper.
It's a beautiful car. It's not rare, but it is a great example of the last of the Firebirds. For those who know these cars like I do, you can recognize that beyond a certain price point, parts are, unfortunately, worth more than the car as a whole. Low ball offers will result in me doing the cutting instead of you. Let's not go there.
