Stock ignition coils with Firecore plug wires
Spark plugs are TR55 (I don’t remember the gap)
Green top 42lb/hr injectors
Nasty Performance fuel rails
Recetronix fuel pump kit with hot wire kit
Lingenfelter 2 step box (no timing retard) hooked to the clutch pedal switch
American Racing Headers 1-7/8” with custom 3” dual exhaust pipes. There is no crossover in this system.
Mufflers are Dynatech Split Flow’s
Drivetrain:
Faceplated T56 (1-4, 5&6 are stock)
Steel 3/4 shift fork
Bronze shift pads
Bronze shifter cup
MGW shifter
Clutch is a Monster stage 3 with the 28lb flywheel
Quick Time bellhousing
Tick Performance master cylinder, also have their speed bleeder on the slave
Strange Engineering 3” chromoly driveshaft
Strange Engineering S60 rear axle narrowed 2.5 inches per side
4.56 gears with a spool and 35 spline axles and 5/8” studs
Strange Engineering drag brakes on front and rear
Midwest Chassis manual brake master cylinder kit
Linelock solenoid mounted below brake master cylinder
Parking brake and all components have been removed, but I added a swagelock valve in the rear brake line so you can keep the rear brakes engaged and park on a hill with the car running and out of gear. Valve is located inside near the driver’s right knee.
Suspension and Chassis:
Racecraft chromoly K-member and lower A-arms with heim joints
K-member is for a manual rack and it has a Spohn racing manual rack kit on it
Stock upper arms
BMR rear lower control arms and panhard bar with heim joints and offset bushings
Spohn lower control arm relocation brackets
UMI adjustable torque arm. Poly mount up front. This is not their race tubular torque arm, but their standard chromoly replacement with 2 adjustment holes.
BMR driveshaft safety loop
Bolt in subframe connectors that have also been welded in (unknown brand as they were installed when I bought the car)
Custom anti-roll bar mounted below the rear axle (very similar to the Wolfe Racecraft design)
Strange engineering double adjustable shocks on front and rear
Eibach drag launch rear springs
Strange Engineering 300# front springs
Wolfe Racecraft chromoly weld in 5pt roll cage (good to 10.00 ¼ mile)
Chris Alston Chassis driver’s door bar swingout kit
Interior:
Procar Sportsman Pro driver seat (slightly more narrow than the Sportsman for better fitment with the door bar)
Procar Sportsman passenger seat
Stroud 5pt harness on both driver and passenger side (wrap around style)
Autometer 5” Ultra Lite 9,000 rpm tach (outside has been painted black)
Autometer Sport Comp mechanical oil pressure and water temp gauges mounted in a 6LE bezel (these are not electric gauges)
All HVAC ductwork has been removed and the radio is simply a factory faceplate
Speakers, airbags, seat belts, and rear seats have been removed
All factory gauges still function
Optima red top battery has been relocated to the hatch area and is in a metal vented battery box and charging lugs installed under rear bumper cover. NHRA legal kill switch installed as well.
Exterior:
Factory original Hugger Orange paint (Some spider webbing on the front and rear bumper covers and rock chips on the hood as well as the usual bubbling on the roof panel. Otherwise a 7-8 out of 10)
SLP SS grille
Rear hatch glass has been replaced with Percy’s speed glass
Weld racing polished RT-S S71 wheels front and rear. Fronts are 15x4 and have a 2.5” backspacing with a low pad height, rears are 15x10.33 with a 5.5” backspacing and low pad height. Also included is a set of 15x10 polished Weldstar wheels (these have been drilled for screws).
Front tires are Classic All Season 165-80R-15
Rear tires on the S-71 wheels are 28x12x15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR (maybe 200 miles and 0 burnouts on them) and on the Weldstar’s there are Mickey Thompson 28x10.5 stiff wall slicks with roughly 10 passes on them
Performance:
Best ¼ mile pass is 10.52 @ 129. I have run mid tens several times even in 95+ degree midwest weather. The car dyno’d 488rwhp and 472rwtq. 91-93 octane gas is all I have ever used.
A little about the car:
I have competed at Hot Rod Drag Week 3 times with this car and never had a single issue with anything. It was featured on the cover and in an article in the January 2012 issue of Hot Rod Magazine. I had it tuned locally and it drives great on the street considering the manual steering, spool, and faceplated trans. The engine has less than 2000 miles on it and less than 30 passes. I’ve put way less than 10,000 miles on the car since purchasing it in February 2009. It has always been garage kept and well taken care of. It is a stripper model and came with manual locks and windows and hatch, no cruise control, and no rear defroster.
I'd like to get $18,000 for it. Located in Blue Springs, Mo NO TRADES

Best ¼ mile pass is 10.52 @ 129. There is more in the car as this was with limited traction on ET streets. I have run mid tens several times even in 95+ degree Midwest weather. The car dyno’d 488rwhp and 472rwtq. 91-93 octane gas is all I have ever used.
2 videos from the 2013 drag week. Skip to 2:46:10 for my first ever 10 sec. pass in the car @ 10.69, and also to 3:52:07 for a pass that I lifted on. I was running in a class that you could only go as quick as 10.80. This was on a 95 degree day in St. Louis.

Love the seats. How were they to install? Did you use their bracket or fab something?

On the drivers side I modified their bracket because the seat sat up too high. The passenger side is completely custom. Kind of a pain in the *** really but they are very comfortable. I'm 6'2" so someone shorter might be able to just use their brackets.

I just checked it and it looks like it goes to 5:12:26. Not sure why you can't see the whole thing.

Bringing this back to the top since the car never sold and it's time to try again.
