escalades have the lq9 which is an iron block...the LS2 is the aluminum 6.0 just so you know

I didnt know that. Its def. the aluminum block. The previous owner told me it was out of an escalade.

Do you know how much hp you are pushing out? And what kind of gas mileage do you get?

Dunno on exact hp numbers. I have never had the car on a dyno. From knowing my previous cars, I'd say this one is around the 425 hp range.

I checked it once on a trip and got 23.5 mpg at a steady speed of around 80.

Not to bash your thread or anything because I am interested...but I have a few questions about the car

1. Has it been wrecked or repainted? The LF fender looks like it may have been repainted at one time... has the hood, and the bumper cover have been re-shot??

2. Why does the Ls6 intake have an egr port up top?

3. What are the numbers off the block? To figure out what block it is and what it may be out of??

Very interested in the car, would just like to know everything about it
Do you have any information from the previous owner??
