F\S 01 T\A convertible M6 50k WTT for 00-02 T-top T\A or C5 Vette 21k invested PLEASE CLICK ON BLUE LINK ON BOTTOM OF PAGE TO VIEW MORE PHOTOS!!
01 Triple black T\A Ls1 6 spd convertible. 50k miles Super clean! (and then some...see below!!) Only 81 of these were made this year (with this combination) in ALL colors. Much less in black, I'm sure. So, rare car!
Interior- Removed entire interior from vehicle in March '08. (1000 miles ago)
Replaced anything that had visible wear on it.
This included: drivers door panel, rear sail panels, all lock and window switches, tcs switch, top switch, mirror switches, dashpad,top of center console (including new shift boot), leather shift ****, seat track covers,door sills,etc.
I used Dynamat Extremeliner on ENTIRE floorpan to quiet roadnoise and reject heat (very expensive)Replaced carpet with best on the market molded BLACK NOT EBONY carpet. Carpet goes all the way into trunk and has molded backing that doesn't allow anything to soak into padding. All parts (except carpet...better than factory) came straight from G.M.
Nice Nice Nice black leather interior. Had drivers seat recovered (ordered factory leather from G.M.) Passengers seat shows no visible wear. Rear seats look brand new! Visors were re-done in black vinyl, as were B-pillars (panels above windows when top is up) Panel above windshield was also done in black vinyl.Factory shifter replaced with Lou's short stick. New Clarion 885USB cd receiver matches dash lights PERFECTLY, controls ipod, and retains steering wheel controls. Car is pre-wired for an aftermarket sound sound system including Monster Cable speaker wire, rca's and 4 guage power wire. INTERIOR LOOKS LIKE A NEW VEHICLE!! Also have boot that covers top when down. This also looks brand new!
Exterior-
New paint on front bumper.(scraped bottom crossing street) A few chips in paint. Wouldn't know they were there unless looking for them. Can fix if preferred. Have WONDERFUL painter on hand.No dents or dings. Very glossy paint.
New Suncoast Ws6 hood with aluminum honeycomb inserts. Suncoast Ram Air kit.
30th anniversary T\A (gold in color) stripe kit on hood and rear spoiler.
Gold overlay over filler panel lettering (between tailights). Tailights look new!
New driving lights.Top is black and is in excellent condition. New cowl panels (plastic panels between hood and windshield).
Car is bone stock with the exception of the ram air kit.
No Ws6 emblem, as this is not an original Ws6. Add the symbol if you want.
Tires have alot of tread and are on factory 16" chrome wheels.
I am 35 years old and have ALWAYS wanted an LS1. This is why I have done so much work on the car and for no other reason. My intent was to make the interior and exterior look brand new, then add performance mods. This car is garaged and covered. I have but 1000 miles on the car since March '08. I thought I'd love the top down, but with 100 degree weather in San Antonio, it isn't practical for me or my 3 year old.
The car was bought from a chevy dealership. It has a clear title. Title is in hand (car is paid for). Clean Carfax. Car needs nothing! Runs VERY strong, like new! A\C is ice cold. Heat is red hot. Over 21k invested!
What I am looking for-
00-02 T-top Trans Am (ws6 preferred..not a deal breaker) with less than 50k miles. I strongly prefer a 6 speed, but will consider an auto- only if miles are very low.
I really like c5 vettes as well. Cash can be added (on my end) if car is right.
