Wts/wtt ls1 s10
I have one very nicely built 02 S10 with an 01 SS LS1 and trans swap I am looking to sell or trade for a clean, modded F-body
Engine:
01 SS LS1 with under 40k on it
stock 853 heads with mild porting
ASA cam 525 lift 232/236 duration on a 110 lobe sep
Sanderson shortie headers
True dual exhaust with X pipe and 40 series flowmasters
LS6 intake
Flex fuel 35Lb injectors
Trans:
01 SS 4L60
Yank 3200
rebuilt with updated parts
Suspension:
The rearend is a disc brake unit with 3.42 gears that has been welded internally by a master welder using 309 stainless stick. (I was tired of peg leg and couldn't find a mini spool )
I have a narrowed 8.8 with all the internals, brakes, and 3.73 gears for it but no axles yet. I just lost interest after I narrowed it.
It has QA1 12 way adjustable shocks on all 4 corners
I have removed the sway bar but still have it (Extreme version)
Interior:
All stock gauges work
Ice cold AC
Premier sub with amp (I don't know much about audio stuff)
Body:
It has its flaws mostly on the bed rails but for the most part she's really clean. I added a lockable tonneau cover and carpeted the bed for that show look.
That's all I can think of for now. I am selling it because I really miss my old Trans AM. I am asking 10,500 for it to start with. It really is one of the nicest swaps you will ever see.

I forgot to mention I had it tuned in Mobile by RWTD and it made 345hp on 87 octane. I took it to the track in the middle of summer and went a 13.1 @ 108 with a 2.06 60ft. not spinning on street tires. With some tuning, this little truck could go into the mid 12's easy.

Man I want this truck. And its not over priced like all the other ls1 s-10's.
What kinda gas mileage does it get. Do you have more pics like underneath. How many miles are on it. If I can get rid of my 05 GMC quick like I plan on. I am going to try to get this truck.

Well....The body/odometer has over 100K on it as it started life as a 2.2 work truck. Anything that moves has been replaced including the rear end out of a Jimmy for the disc brakes.
Because of the stall it gets around 14 in the city and nearly 20 on the highway.
I will try to get to a lift this week and snap some shots of the under side. It is just as pretty underneath as the engine compartment.

Is the rear end a 8.5 or a 7.5. Who ported the heads, any flow #'s. What kind of head gaskets? Were they milled any? How many miles on the engine?
What all kind of parts were put into the trans? Is the carpet in the bed just laying in there or is it fastened down?
Also any more pics you take you can email them to me at jtzwyf4lyf@aol.com
Thanks

Ok...
The rear end is 7.5
My friend who built the truck ported them. He is a master GM tech and went off of a tutorial found here.
There are no flow #'s unfortunately.
The head gaskets are stock and the heads aren't milled.
There is less than 40K on the engine
I don't know exactaly what parts were used in the rebuild of the trans, only that they are "updated". Remember this whole project was done by a GM tech at the dealership so almost all the parts are GM.
The carpet is not fastened down.
I hope I got all of that for you.

I'll trade you my dime plus a nice amount of cash on my end. My trucks motor has 68k and tranny does also. Truck has tons of extras and you can still retain a s-10 truck with a bed to haul and get 24mpg in town and turn a lot of heads...and hell maybe with the cash I throw in you could put another ls1 in this one. Send me a PM with what you think....

Damn Alex, I can't believe you would get rid of the truck so close to CTC.
To back up what he said about the builder, he is a GM master tech as stated & does excellent work. This truck wasn't thrown together in someone's garage, the motor looks like it was made to be in there down to the AC. Someone here will be getting a hell of a deal on this thing. If Christy wouldn't kill me for getting another vehicle, I'd be beating down your door for this ride.
EDIT: This is not the 1st V8 S10 that the builder has done, it's at least his third, so he's got practice. As far as porting goes, I know the builder did a jam up job porting the blower on his old lightning & I do believe he did his own porting on his VERY quick 03 Cobra's blower. He knows what he's doing.
