Default 1986 IROC-Z Z28 Ls1/T-56 6speed conversion for sale

Hi I may be selling my old high school car and seeing if there is any interest. I am in no rush to sell. I am debating whether or not to keep it or if someone offers me a good price I may part ways. It is still a work in progress but I am getting divorced and don't have the time I need to invest to complete the car. It is a 1986 IROC-Z Z28 with the RS ground effects and 92 anniversary spoiler on the back. The engine is an early LS1 out of a 1998 vette. The engine only has 3000 miles on it. The car itself only has 82,000 miles on it. I've had this car since 1996 and has been a project car unfortunately sitting in my garage most the time.

Upgrades-
t56 -6speed
4 puck SPEC racing clutch
custom aluminum driveshaft
conversion parts from 3rd gen resource
ls1 engine
edelbrock headers
redline performance ecu and fuel mngmt system
3 inch exhaust all the way back with no CATs
flowmaster exhaust (sounds mean as hell!!)
lowering springs
18" IROC chrome rims / tires still good
infinity kapa perfect sound system 2, 12's (may sell seperately)

It is a work in progress because it still needs a custom intake and a few things need to be completed. The car did not have AC, but I have installed a unit and there are some lines that need to be installed and the Heat/AC unit needs to be wired. And a few other things. ECU still needs to be tuned. The redline performance ECU and fuel system puts the car up over 400 hp.

The car is in very good condition. Never driven in winter in WI. The car is currently in San Diego. I am asking for 13,000 firm. I spent over that alone on the engine/tran and conversion!!!! Email me if interested and if you have other questions.

2780 lbs of pure power. The LS1 engine is a 1/3 of the weight of the old 305 (which was a piece of *****). So it is quite a bit lighter than the stock iroc-z.

What other weight reduction have you done? Anything sub 2800 is very very light for a thirdgen.

Ya, sorry, I posted that without researching the original car. Can 3rd gen's handle? I have seen some at the autocross a few years back, but what about road courses vs newer stuff?

I'm not to familiar with with the competition for handling. I have a full new suspension and lowering springs installed.
