Default FS: 69' & 70' Chevelles 97' Z28 30th Anv.

1970 Chevelle "SS" 454 (Clone)

This Chevelle is a beautiful blue with white "SS" racing stripes. It has a Rebuilt 1970 LS6 454 Engine (With Less Than 1000 Miles On The Rebuild), Engine is bored OVER to 471 c.u. inches. From what I can remember off the top of my head it has: Many Powdercoated/Chromed MOROSO/ETC. engine pieces, Steel Crankshaft, TRW Pistons, 3/8 Push Rods, Crane Aluminum Roller Rockers, Triple Valve Springs, Double Timing Chain, 750 4 Barrel Holley Carb, 2,200 B&M Stall Converter, B&M Street/Strip Transmission, B&M Shifter, 12 Bolt Rear End with Spool, Moser Axles, and 4.56 gears, Newer Front Suspension with Front disc brakes, Long Tube Headers, It has a Autometer 5" Tach w/ shiftlight, a triple gauge set w/ only Oil Pressure working, Electronic fans, push button start, Car has a 8 gallon fuel cell in the trunk, All doors close/lock including trunk. Hood latches at factory location. Car has a decent headliner, rear bench looks really good, front 2 buckets are ripped/torn but I have generic seats covers on them, car has no carpet. The only thing that would need to be addressed is the Alternator has a chrome pulley and under a WOT run the belt tends to slip off the pulley, so you either need to sand off the chrome one, or replace with a regular pulley. Also speedometer does not work, This car is deftinally very quick and by no means can be driven every day in its current state. The previous owners said the car ran a best of 10.3 before it was rebuilt etc. The car will need some body work, has bad paint prep on the top of the 1/4's, has paint chips/flaking/bubbling through out, minor surface rust underneath the car, but solid was pretty much going to be used as a drag car. Any questions email me I have tried my best to describe the car. We are asking $13,000 OBO/TRADE On This one...

A/C To us is a waste of space/weight so No neither of them have A/C, never drove them when its cold so I'm not sure if they have heat, but they probably do.

I dont really care about AC as much on a muscle car, iv been driving my '68 around for over a year and a half without either but in Lubbock it gets pretty cold so heat would be nice. although it wouldnt be hard to install

The 70 has the heater hose off the WP capped off, and the entire HVAC has been removed on the firewall, so there is no heater core there.

The 69 has heater hoses running to the HVAC *including AC components, although the AC is no hooked up*. So it has the necessary parts for working heater, but from a pic I cant tell you if it works I would recommend getting a non-AC heater core and finish removing the AC components, OR spending the $ to get the full HVAC working.

Charlie

BTW both are very nice looking cars. Good Luck.
