1998 Camaro SS Convertible NBM 6 Spd 89k Miles SOLD!

I'm looking to sell our 98 SS convertible. It has 89k miles. It has gray cloth interior, which comes in handy on a hot summer day with the top down because you don't get burnt by leather. You can see the mods in my sig. Nonsmoker car. Interior is in excellent condition. When I bought it the stock stereo had been replaced with a Pioneer head unit. I added a SS shift ****. The seats are stain free with no tears. The dash pad and the door panels are in great shape with no tears or cracks on either. I do not have the floor mats. The carpet on the drivers side is a little dirty from being everyday driven, but will be cleaned before selling. The rest of the carpet looks great.
The exterior is in good condition. I added the stainless steel lettering on the front grille and rear bumper. Also added one of bitviper's shorty antenna's. The car is 9 years old with 89k miles so it's not perfect. I took pics of the problem areas you can see in the photobucket link above. It has ZR1 wheels. I didn't get a pic, but one wheel has a 3" long curb rash on the lip of the wheel. The tires are in good shape with about 10k miles on them. The convertible top is in great condition. I just had it cleaned and sealed.
The only other bad thing about the car is I think the 5th gear synchros are starting to go bad. It just started since the weather has gotten cold, 5th gear will grind a little bit until you drive the car a few miles. I've just not been using 5th gear for the first 3-5 miles of driving. It seems to be fairly common as the T56 gets older. I have not had it looked at by a transmission shop, so I can't say exactly what the problem is. Other than that the car is in excellent mechanical shape and runs great.
In 1998, there were only 197 SS convertible M6 produced. There were only 45 Navy Blue Metallic convertible SS's produced out of 478 total. I don't know how many also had the cloth interior but I would say it is very few. This is SS #2761. Nice ride and thats a good deal...Most of the SS camaro's in this condition, milage and year go for 11 or 12. good luck with the sale...i would be all over this if it were a hard top or T-top. Insurance would kill me on a convertible lol.
